TV Series

Any good? The wife has it bookmarked but I'm not sure I can be bothered.
Yep, compelling storytelling, great acting chemistry between Christian Slater and Arec Bardwin (jokes) starring as the two doctors working to stop Dr Death.

However, I found the multiple timeline jumps in the plot really distracting and sometimes it was hard to follow what year/event I was watching, until they fattened up Dr Death towards the conclusion with his distracting face prosthetics.

Oh great. Cue the wife asking daft questions all night : )

Maybe not for everyone but 'A Small Light' on Disney plus is well worth a watch for anyone interested in the Anne Frank story and Nazi occupied Amsterdam. The story is told through the eyes of Miep Gies who worked for Anne's father. It follows facts pretty well although bits are added for dramatic effect here and there. The two leads are very very good (Bel Powey and Joe Cole). It takes an episode or so to get going but draws you in slowly but surely to the horror that underlies the whole story.

My god Miep Gies and her husband lived a life and are as fine an example of everything that is good about humanity.
