Tbh I’ve always thought he was about our level but at 35 it had passed him by
What are your thoughts on the new contracts / wage rises being made to pave the way for a proper marquee signing?

I can’t see the Swiss lad coming, I am happy to extend the contracts. We won’t be getting a marquis signibg because none woukd come here. I just want good players, regardless. We make more money finding someone and selling them on if we don’t go mad on the price. Need to wait and see but we are hoping we get a fucking move on.
As for Evans, I’m hoping it’s just rumours. He’s 35 and was never that great to start with. A no from me.
I agree. It’s all well and good having tens of millions to spend but there is a ceiling on the players who are willing to come to Scotland.
Some players like Cantwell lost their way and are looking for a road back to where they probably should be.
The Japanese players are looking to play in a league where they will be seen on a more regular basis
Youngsters like Raskin and Odin using it as an obvious stepping stone. Good luck to them as long as we get decent service and a hefty fee . Everyone’s a winner

It’s the way it is. No one comes here to stay, it’s to move to a better league. As you say, they do a job and make us a few quid brilliant. Any young guy who is a class player and has interest from any of the bigger leagues ain’t coming here. Even with CL participation. Pie in the fucking Sky some of the names mentioned. It always a wish list, not an actual serious about to happen list. I worry about the mentality of some of both our fans. They live in a world that doesn’t exist. They then get all upset because the beyond belief pish they want doesn’t happen.
It’s like me getting fucked off because Emily Blunt never pops round for a shag.

There is and we will bring good players in, but I can’t see any marquis types. Anyone in that class already, ain’t coming to Scotland. We find the next marquis types, that’s our objective. Would be nice though. I’ll be fine.
