Sam has several sources at City and is a good bloke to be fair. I think he does a great job covering a team that’s not his own and his tactical acumen has shown through following his move to the Athletic.

Sam seems a good bloke as mentioned. Obviously his profession is producing articles that naturally this will occasionally get some peoples back up. Subjects like the ffp charges are emotive subjects and you can’t please everyone.

But I pay for his new lmt pod and enjoy it. He states how some journalists are too extreme and he mutes them and clearly has an affinity with city now.

And in terms of him getting 'sparked' for writing a few articles people don't agree with - fucking come on man.

Sadly he damaged goods it's too late for him. Not only he is been coached in wrong way at that swamps but also his confidence at the lowest point of his football career.
 
Necessary refresh imminent, not just because of players ages and performance but to do with hunger and raw desire to win. Sad to see some fantastic servants to the club leave. Excited to see what new talent arrives. Experience shows City like to keep their cards close to their chest on transfers where possible, wouldn’t be surprised to see a couple of new players arrive with virtually no transfer media gossip ala Bernardo signing. A new era begins!
