Sorry to all the purists, but I thought the series involving our women's team was enjoyable, and the Aussies seemed to be pretty decent.

It was ridiculous he didn't. He averages 60 with the bat and 11 with the ball at Lords. It was a no brainer to pick him there.

Going like all the other tests so far, where you feel like one team is getting in the ascendency only to lose a wicket. We need them 3 down at lunch, ideally 4 to have justified bowling first (although the justification is we can control the test better this way and it wasn't a decision based on the pitch).

Why wasn’t Wood on the boundary no advantage being 5m in - Smith should have gone first ball - hope we don’t end up regretting missing such a great chance
