wish I was - a friend I know was present last night.

The rags have booked out the same area tonight - I'll see you this time tomorrow when the inevitable Sun/Daily Mail article drops with the press pics.

Some of the first team only flew back late last night so maybe that explains why there has been no pictures as of yet:

Nightmare he's signing for BPA!

United are flying from Edinburgh to New York this evening following their friendly

Pep (and most of us!) would argue he made the right decisions since we won the treble, but what about the man management of these want away players in the final weeks of the season?

- Walker was brilliant for the run in when he came back into the side but then found himself suddenly dropped for the CL final.

- Mahrez barely featured at all during the big games of the run in, rarely even getting any sub minutes.

- Laporte in the exact same boat as Mahrez with barely any minutes in the must win games.

You could see why all 3 would want to leave based on those circumstances. They've won it all now and if they feel they won't play a big role in the side going forward, they might think its best to go out on a treble and on to the next adventure.

Surely actually winning things is the club's priority over the "man management" of players whose feelings may be hurt by being left on the bench. This is the highest level of professional football, not kindergarten.

I think if city move for Raphina it will be a patch up job until something better comes along. The market isn't exactly saturated with the type of wingers Pep seems to want nowadays.

Have seen Dani Olmo play a lot and he is categorically not close to being good enough to play for us.

Wouldn’t hate the idea of Raphina as a replacement for Mahrez. Mainly because there isn’t many better options around. Imo we are in an era with much fewer top quality wide attackers and forwards than the past 20 years. Would prefer Sane to replace Mahrez but feel it’s all fan nostalgia on Twitter rather than Pep entertaining the idea.
That is categorically your opinion...

Maybe they dont like fullbacks in Saudi.. not worth it. Saudi should play Cancelo as a winger then.

Nothing sums up Twitter more than a bloke on a drug comedown confidently proclaiming that a guy who looks nothing like Rodri is Rodri, and half the comments believing him.

McAtee could easily be much better than Caicedo if given a chance.
Caicedo is a very promising player, but my God has he become massively over-rated at the moment. His offensive output is next to zero. He would not get into our midfield ahead of Rodri, KDB, Bernardo, or Foden...JMHO
