Doesn’t look anything like that. Making up facts so you can whinge about your made up world.
Gundogan gone. Mahrez, Walker, Cancelo all likely to go. We bring in only Kovacic.
My guess may not be wrong. It is what is, I'm just stating that it looks like we've been complacent in not forseeimg a few departures and we could end up inadvertently having a weakened squad to start the season with as it stands at the moment.
Surely you would want new players integrated in the pre season games instead of last minute?

Yes because we are obviously run by idiots that will reduce the squad by 3 senior players. Doesn’t matter if they are here for the 3 pre season games or not, we can still put out more or less the same team that clinched the treble.

This is a forum you know. You don't have to be so hostile.

Simon Jordan and his twin.

It absolutely does matter. Not the 3 games specifically, but the 3-4 weeks on the training pitch is the only time all year we will get that amount of time for pep to really instill his ideas into players before it becomes about maintaining fitness over anything.

We've seen instances of players missing that peruod and taking much longer to adapt. Phillips last season missed all pre-season and the start of the season and by time he got fit we were too swamped with games for him to get upto speed. Similarly when we signed ake, he got a lengthy injury almost instantly and barely featured all season.

We typically like to do most of our business early, it's far from ideal if we were to lose 3/4 first teamers from now until thr close of the window and have to replace them in august.

still hoping Walker stays, all the talk around a move has come from one German source, who has talked bs this window already around other transfers. He could go but still hopeful.

Bernardo staying & hope he signs up that revised extension.

A replacement for Mahrez surely, imagine in the mould of a Grealish, can play wide but not a “winger”.

Should be a fairly busy month, at least it’s more exciting than the ‘business done’ windows : )

Only a guess but think the players we lose are Gundogan, Mahrez, Laporte , Cancelo, maybe Walker.
Gundogan we already have Kovacic in the squad
Laporte and Cancelo probably replaced by Gvardiol, if Ake starts the season thats okay and suspect Gvardiol will be up to speed fairly quick
Mahrez I think we replace with a younger winger that we can wait to bed in as Bernardo and Foden playing wide right
Walker is the one that’s tricky and we could do with a replacement getting to know the position. Though Stones and Akanji can play there, there are games we’d need a proper RB that understands the system.Maybe why Peps keen for him to stay.Hopefully he will.
