Yeah unfortunately I agree, bizarre window currently considering we were going to allegedly go big this summer?

Up to now we have lost 2 top class players.
1 has been replaced with a high class player, time will tell if that is the case.
We appear to have another player coming shortly, who most people believe will be the best in his position.
Mahrez leaving for Saudi Arabia was unforseen by everyone and we are not the only club being caught out by the influx of money from there.
The market for players of his class is limited ,what do you want the club to do ?
This is not a sweet shop, we are shopping at Harrods and sometimes, you have to wait a bit longer, for quality.
Patience is a virtue, something you sadly lack.
Keep the faith, in Tixi we trust, he doesn't let us down,normally

I think we should have an investigation. Where is the Kane money, where is the Bellingham/Rice money where is the Academy sales money and where is the 300m in winning money from this season? Easily 500m. I reckon the boss is doing a Glazer and it now taking it out of the club!

Why don't we fill the space left by Mahrez with Carlos Borges. There are a few parallels here with the Philips/Lavia option last year. We sold Lavia and stumped up nearly £50M for Philips, let's just say that's not qone as well as expected. Borge's stats were really impressive in PL2 and he is rated very highly by many on here. Of course he's not close to Mahrrez atm but in 2 years he may be. He will only get limited game time but being with the first team squad consistently will either make or break him. The good will towards academy players is fantastic, as opposed to say a £50M England International in the prime of his career who looks "ok".

We have the money just not the squad space. We need players to leave or at least have a club lined up for them to go to. We currently have 2 spots one of which will be filled by gvardiol and im sure he wont be the last player through the door neither.

Yes but once we didn’t get those two there was maybe nobody else we thought would improve us. No point spending money for the sake of it on players that don’t improve us much.

Point taken, but not sure what you mean by that "type" of winger, the type of winger that gets 21 goals and 10 assists in one season ?. You wonder why he was ever in the academy if he's the wrong type of winger. Anyway let's see how he gets on under Moyes,, he may be able to convert him into the right "type".

We dont play with pacy wingers, we play with controllers on the wings. its why when other players such as bob rico ect have been given a chance over him. It wasnt a dig, hes a talented lad just wouldnt fit into this current city set up.

Yes but IMO not a big money signing, Front 3 from Grealish,Alvarez Haaland, Bernardo, Foden. Any addition for me is for depth or a younger player and mainly a left sided wide player. No idea who but would expect no more than £40 mill.

I think the chages will happen. I just dont think it will be with pacy wingers given we play against low blocks every week and we have none in the squad.

Every window the ITKs say we have a huge budget and should expect four or five new players and they're never right and this forum never learns.
