Why have you allowed yourself to think of this, then type it out then send it without any cut off point whatsoever?
Fuck me do you really think kovacic is the same player as gundog?
Think about it.
I didn't say they were the same players but goodness, I can't believe saying Kovacic shouldn't be mentioned in the same breath as Gundogan is seemingly so controversial.

Let me try one last time then I will give up.

If 70-80% of the population voted for a political party, would you say many people voted for them, or the vast majority of people voted for them?

Yes, my point was bullshit. That was the point. He has no evidence at all to back up his point, either. It makes no sense. It is a poorly thought-out point. If his only evidence is that 20-30% of the population are distrustful of Muslims then that should also clearly apply amongst City fans to Gundogan, for example, and it obviously doesn't.

And finally, I am absolutely sure a % of City fans are racist, a % Islamaphobic, a % homophobic, a % misogynistic and a % everything else. But to claim racism (sorry, not relating) as a reason for fans not warming to Mahrez is disingenuous at best.

You aren't Sam Lee, are you?
If that's where your brain goes when someone disagrees with you, then you really are best giving up :)

Your point was bullshit because you deliberately misinterpreted the stats, Suggesting that a survey that tells us that 20-30% of the population has negative attitudes to Muslims, clearly doesn't mean that 20-30% of Muslims have negative feelings about Muslims. The same way that if 80% of football fans hate Liverpool, you wouldn't argue that 80% of Liverpool fans hate Liverpool. But of any sample of all football fans, it makes sense.

But really, the phrase you're getting offended by is "that will not be a factor for many".

I don't think many (!) people will read that and think he's suggesting it's a significant issue, or that he's saying City fans are most racist, or that you yourself are racist.

Quite clearly every one has been briefed on City's transfer business. Deals are speeding up

Loan or sell on with buy back clause ?
Given that we take a hit on every transfer we add a buy back to, and most of them are being reported as quite high, I wonder what the benefit is?

Even if a player really improves, we're relying on us needing them at that particular time. Maybe it'll all become clear years down the line, but I'd be interested if anyone knows roughly what we knock off the purchase prices in order to insert them?

It worked out massively with Angelino

I doubt there is any reduction in the price. It's simply a necessity for us to have it.
Clubs can either include it or go elsewhere.

Would Burnley have paid 25m for Trafford if we had taken the buy back out. Highly unlikely.

It usually gets reported as some kind of hit for the buy back.

That also assumes that there's plenty of clubs willing to pay the same amount, which I'm not sure is the case. Having a buy back that's anything of a bargain, clearly reduces the value to the club doing the buying. I just wonder how much a high buyback has.

I agree that £6m extra would be a big hit for the Trafford deal, given the reported buyback is pretty high for a keeper. But I assume it must have some value.

That was a really odd deal though - and there was quite some difference in what PSV said they got and what City's buyback was supposed to be.

Still, Angelino's was reported as £5.5m on a fee of £5m, while most of the ones being reported now are very different - e.g. Lavia's buyback was reported as £40m, based on a fee of £10-14m, while Trafford's was reported as £57m on a £15-19m deal.

People are not being negative it’s just no one can understand why we are not getting stronger in this window because Liverpool atm will be a major threat as will arsenal and even Utd and all 3 teams will be loving our transfer business or lack off . Just bringing kovacic in is nowhere enough for us especially if we get any injuries to key players which in turn would give us major problems .

Your panicking a bit too early the windows not shut.

Also Liverpool don't even have a DM yet. There transfer business is incomplete.

Once gvardiol signed we don't have a squad space so outgoings are required too. I expect things start moving now where back off preseason tour.

We aren’t just bringing Kovacic in are we. People are being negative because they have no patience and even more strange lack trust.
Every summer posters predict other have got stronger and we’ll struggle for top 4 every season turns out to be wrong.

Liverpool so far have lost six midfield players and Firminho, and Thiago is also reported to want out.

They've bought two players so far, so clearly they had better get a move on or they'll be playing with a bunch of kids.
