PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

Anyone know of the government’s involvement in the sale ? Things could get very messy, especially if Chelsea discovered said misdemeanours during the sales process then spent a billion

Just a bit suspicious about this. Chelsea have obviously been overspending & I just hope that they haven’t struck a bargain with the PL to take an unprecedented points deduction (knowing they can’t compete this year anyway) so that the PL can use it to do the same to us???

Sounds far fetched but I don’t trust the FA PL UEFA FIFA or any of the supposed “top” PL clubs - who all just want to stop the City juggernaut

Am I being paranoid!!???

Chavs new owners dumping everything on the Russian. Didn’t see that coming! -:)

Nicely played tbf. They can claim ignorance and the bad war mongering man.

What does “independent” look like?

Can only be good news.

Nothing Independent about this. The Premier League chose the Chair - les arse season ticket holder - then he picks the rest of the panel.

Not sure, but it may of been the guy Pep didn't want the team to shake hands with. Edit: Just found out it wasn't.

Let's hope they have inadvertently given the authorities an opportunity to delve deeper into their affairs ?

Maybe they have opened up a can of worms causing an investigation into their past dealings
The David Luiz transfer from PSG at the time was mooted as being dodgy. 50m and he was shite. Then they sold him back for the same price.

there is such a strange take from many that City is somehow getting away with things and have the PL and UEFA in there pockets .
I think it is because rhe media have reported this saga completely wrong.
There is no doubt that City won at CAS because there wasn't any proof.
This is all what can we find on City to take them down instead of like what is happening at Chelsea where it is obvious they are cheating FFP.

and what the fuck is the women beater Collimore problem. What if Liverpool would be investigated would he say the same.

No that was bizarrely the former Palace manager Alan Smith. No sleight intended, Pep realised belatedly he was in front of some of the players. They had a handshake and long conversation afterwards by all accounts, plus an apology from Peo
Media trying to make something out of nothing
Not sure why AS was part of the presentation party in the first place tbh

I think I heard that Chelsea under the Abramovich era are being investigated after the new owners reported the irregularities to both the Prem League and UEFA. I may be wrong but thats how I heard it this afternoon.
That was my take also.
Be interesting to see what they do about it considering it's the new owners that have brought it up.
Either way Chelsea are cheeky fucking cunts putting their name on that letter.
Old owner or not I hope they throw the book at them.
I hope Arsenal are next.

A sign that the PL are perhaps distancing themselves from the charges?

I hold this view. I also suspect that by the time our case has ground through the various stages of pre- hearing challenge there will be an Independent gvmt Regulator in place who may play a significant role.
What an elegant solution for the PL and job done coz we continue to be covered in shit.

More telling was he referred to our owners as a regime and that our dominance would come to an end.
Sounded like a threat.
Sounds like Cerefin before he realised that the UEFA case was a sack of shit, at which point he came out with a similar statement as Masters.

Remind me again, how did the UEFA charge turn out?
