It reminds me of how there was even a discussion about Mount Vs Foden a couple of years ago.

I really rate Saka and I'd love to have him at City but it's astonishing how some people still don't realise what we have with Foden.

I think Phil’s ability to play LW,RW,false 9 is what’s stopping him holding down a position in midfield.

If he could only play midfield I think he’d be first name on the team sheet but because he has a lot of utility, Pep uses him like that , uses him for multiple positions so he doesn’t really have a specific spot or position in the team.

Fodens probably one of the most useful players in the squad for Pep.

I love how the same people who last week were saying “just pay the £15m extra” and “fuck it, it’s not our money, just spend it City” are now firmly stating “fuck that, way too much” and “he’s not worth that amount, no way”. You can’t have it both ways folks, City held out on Gvardiol and ended up paying the price we were happy with as we knew RBL were needing the money (had they done as you wanted, we’d of wasted €15m extra). City are not daft, we’ll pay what we feel the player is worth in terms of both on and off the pitch to us.
