...
Premier League also looking at United over FFP declarations following their recent fine issued by UEFA.

if the PL arent than they should be.

PL are going to need to employ more staff to start investing ALL the PL clubs soon

Don't forget this piece of shit was the presenter that broke our PL charges after they were released 25 minutes early to Sky Sports News so they could headline it ! He's a tablet worrier any info he reports is available to anybody with access to the Internet ! They cooled it down quite quickly on most media platforms City had to have warned them off if any non factual was reported !

What a shitshow. Bring in the independent gvmt regulator asap
Can you imagine the potential consequential claims if we, Chelsea, Everton, Spuds, Scum et al are actually found guilty by the Prem?

This is all snowballing nicely. Hope we have helped sow some seeds

and completely turned the soil over

Sounds like Cerefin before he realised that the UEFA case was a sack of shit, at which point he came out with a similar statement as Masters.

Remind me again, how did the UEFA charge turn out?
So true. And not long afterwards Ceferin tried to do a plea deal with City which, rightly, fell on deaf ears. It seems that Masters is just positioning himself to avoid the fall-out. He is way out of his depth.

It’s not going to create a precedent as If City are proven guilty of what’s alleged, the club would deserve a monumental penalty and passing on to the SFO.
City can't be found "proven guilty" by a so-called panel set up by the PL. It is not a criminal court. We are facing allegations (not charges) made by the Premier League as part of their own auditing process. The allegations are that we have breached some internal PL rules and that's it. If that panel decides we should be sanctioned and produces some evidence of criminality then it is possible (but very unlikely) that the Serious Fraud Office would decide to carry out their own investigation.

The likes of the rags and dippers have sowed the wind and now they shall reap the world wind. Channelling my inner Bomber Harris.

Slightly off topic but next time Simon Jordan is commenting on our charges can we get Eddie Hearn to represent us.

It’s well worth a watch to see how Eddie schools him, especially when Jordan tries to use the “technicality” bullet.

Worth a watch

All it takes is someone who has actually read the CAS verdict to be honest. There's not a chance Jordan bothered to read it. He just jumped on the media conclusions that part was time barred and we got fined because we were guilty. You only have to read a couple of pages to see that the critical parts of the case were reviewed and blown apart and that our fine was due to non-compliance because of our perception of an agenda within UEFA and leaks, which CAS commented on with concern.

He's not interested in facts, unless it relates to his own dealings. Mention him running a business into the ground and apparently there are lots of things behind the scenes no one could possibly understand! Funny that.

They don’t fucking glaze over when it’s about City you gormless ****

He stresses so many times that this was the previous owners and not the current owners and also that Chelsea grassed themselves up.
So..... why doesn't Mansour (for a laugh) sell City to a family member, who then says "oh look, I've found discrepancies in the books" and then see if the media react the same way they are in this case!

They make it up as they see fit, no one has had the scrutiny, mud slinging, punishments or charges we have had despite:

Dippers remember in 2015 (remember the 50 million for building work that never took place but was in the books) :
Liverpool are expected to avoid Uefa sanctions, despite being in breach of Financial Fair Play regulations, as they have managed to persuade European football's governing body there were mitigating circumstances for their failure to comply.
Hull City, though, are set to accept a fine of €200,000 (£145,000) for breaking the rules, after they reached the FA Cup Final last year and unexpectedly qualified for the Europa League.
Hull owner Assem Allam invested more than £30million of his own money since taking control of the club three years ago.
Liverpool announced losses of £49.8million for the 2012-13 season and £40.5million for the 12 months prior to that.
Brendan Rodgers' side returned to the CL after a six-year absence this season, but Uefa were concerned by the amount of money they lost before finishing second in the Premier League.
Uefa rules stipulate that clubs are not allowed to lose more than €45million (£33million) over a three-year period, but Liverpool were able to write off a big chunk of losses as allowable stadium expenditure.
Although Uefa launched an investigation and could have punished the club's owners, Fenway Sports, with a heavy fine and enforced a reduction in the size of their squad in European competitions next season –a punishment they gave Man City – they have accepted Liverpool's explanation for the losses.

Dont think the PL even looked at it, though unsure if the UEFA guilty = PL guilty was in place then. Media hardly mentioned it

Rags: "Minor Breach" . Never released the figures they failed by. Swept under the carpet. Media quick to highlight minor breach

Chelsea. Media highlighting previous owners despite due diligence on books by new owners and its taken over a year

Wolves: In shit with FFP and having to sell players

Everton; Charged

Leicester: laughable token settlement for smashing FFP in the championship. Rarely mentioned by the media

Spurs: Owner charged with fraud and media quick to say not the owner

Recently, European teams charged with failing FFP and token fines, no squad reductions etc, no removal from the CL

Funny how Chelsea have to turn themselves in before the premierleague act. But they come looking for us. I think a jury in a neutral investigation would find this a bit strange.

Maybe because we were the only club where the FA brought in a team of lawyers to investigate us… with a brief to find evidence of wrongdoing - that tactic in itself will need to be defended in the tribunal - hardly even handed.

The charges intrinsically allege a coordinated criminal enterprise within Manchester City. As said, if (and it’s a pretty damn big if) the PL could uphold everything they’ve alleged then City would deserve the book, the gavel, the wig and the bench to be thrown and there is no doubt that the media and public would pressure the SFO to take a look. It would be one of the most high profile international fraud cases in a long time.

Now of course, its a huge hypothetical but the whole point of the reply was questioning if Chelsea accepting breaching FFP would create a precedent for City, which it won’t as the charges on the table are in different worlds.
