What the fuck are we doing in training if it's true about Kovacic. Too intense sessions if we're getting bad injuries from them ffs
Here he is. Have a word with yourself. How many major injuries have we suffered in recent years? Not many at all.

Some of the worst injuries can be caused in the most innocuous ways. An awkward non contact fall that ruptures a knee ligament etc. It would be absolutely pathetic to blame the way we train when our instances of major injury are so low.

Also.... You get what out what you put it in. Train the way you wish to play.

Really?

For starters we don't even know if he's injured. Secondly, If he is injured nobody knows what happened.

I got injured in work by coughing and doing my back in, Not because my work was too intense. There's many ways to pick up injuries it doesn't automatically mean it was a challenge.

Anyway if it was a challenge so be it these things happen in football. Training is supposed to have intense and aggressive. Train how you play.

I tore my ankle ligaments simply walking down the street after the FA Cup final in June.

Richard Wright did his ankle when falling over a ‘Please Keep off the Grass’ sign in training once.

Vincent Kompany tore his calf when driving.

Jack Rodwell stretched when he woke up in the morning and was about to get out of bed and did his back in.

David James tore a shoulder tendon when he was fishing.

Injuries can happen doing anything. Kovačić could have slipped a disc in his spine tying his shoelace.
I remember a Stoke player a few years back having to have surgery after tripping over his dog!

Hope the rumours aren't true about Kovacic, he's been settling in so well.

Let’s leave to the experts in the field to plan and determine how the players train, then maybe we would win multiple trophies

why would a journalist Dm this geezer on twitter and not break the news himself ?
If you mean me the same person messaged at least two other people to ask if we knew who the player was as they did not know at the time, only that a player had been hurt. The journalist is someone I know.

Pep on today I think so all this shit will be cleared up either way. Let’s hope it’s bs.

You missed Jerome Boateng off your list pal.

Very peculiar not a single City player posted anything on social media today.
There is nothing peculiar about that, why would a player announce or comment on that before the club has, if it’s even true.

They put a cast over an injured knee then wait a couple of days for the swelling to go down then get it x rayed to determine how much damage has occurred . Rushing off to hospital with this type of injury ??? Nah man !!
Weird goings on Indeedy !

Seems too soon, the football authorities need to consider giving the elite teams longer to rest. It might be a draw, then we have another meaningless friendly to help the Uefa coffers, and then Newcastle. Ridiculous!
Whilst I sort of agree with you they’d get more rest if they didn’t go doing overseas ‘exhibition’ matches maybe?
I guess I’m old fashioned so please excuse my going against the trend. :-) JMHO

Only issue is there is nothing off the bench aside from alvarez. Assuming the news re kova is true we are woefully short of numbers. Need 2 players in minimum
This is always the risk with such a small squad. Pep prefers it and has been totally correct recently but we have also been fortunate for a few years that we have not had any long term injuries. We have a brilliant medical team but all it takes is 2/3 players to be missing for an extended period of time and we will look very thin in some areas of the pitch.
