It is.They suspended him the moment it went public, but I don't think he had been charged and was just under investigation prior to that.
Breaching bail conditions is not a criminal offence.

The bottom line is he was accused of rape, he was then cleared, don't you think he's paid for his lifestyle ? You just want blood, let it go ffsI assume you have no other argument but to attack me then.
I’m just saying it as it is. If you want to earn a lot of money as a footballer then you play for a big club and get paid big. That attracts people who want to associate themselves with you, who wouldn’t normally if you were an ordinary joe. Some of these people do not have your best interests at heart, in fact see you as an opportunity.
To avoid getting trapped, you have to be careful, really careful. Mendy clearly wasn’t.
Add in to the mix the modern view of how celebrities are expected to behave. It’s just the way it is, you can have the big bucks, or the hedonistic lifestyle, but rarely both.
Sorry you are ???Hi Ben. How's France?
Awesome.I’m not a lawyer or anything it’s just one of those really annoying American phrases that have somehow infected our language.
I don't like praising Ferguson, but one thing he always wanted was for his players to be settled and married as soon as possible. I think he thought it to be a way of preventing players acting the dickhead. Obviously it's not 100% perfect, but there's some positives to that approach.I assume you have no other argument but to attack me then.

Wtf?? Where have I indicated anything about “wanting blood”? I feel sorry for him losing his career (or the best of it at least) but surely these players are getting told about other footballers getting caught out due to their behaviour or at least they can read about it themselves. If I’d spent £40M on a player to do a job I’d be expecting them to be aware of the risks. It’s called learning from experience. The bottom line is he was accused of rape, he was then cleared, don't you think he's paid for his lifestyle ? You just want blood, let it go ffs
Yikes, brave that.I don't like praising F******n,
Absolutely his private life as a footballer was a joke, but he got falsely accused of rape, no one deserves that.Wtf?? Where have I indicated anything about “wanting blood”? I agree totally on false rape accusations. I know of someone who that happened to who actually spent time behind bars and even after being cleared still has consequences. It’s another horrible sign of the times.Absolutely his private life as a footballer was a joke, but he got falsely accused of rape, no one deserves that.
The police do use the term thoughI’m not a lawyer or anything it’s just one of those really annoying American phrases that have somehow infected our language.
If he didn’t have that policy, Giggs might never have happenedI don't like praising Ferguson, but one thing he always wanted was for his players to be settled and married as soon as possible. However, a negative we've seen at City is that wives seem to want to live somewhere warmer/nicer than Manchester..!
Ehm? Wouldn't criminal charges be a breach of his contract, though? He was not available for us. Surely it's somewhere in every professional athlete's contract? How are we the ones liable for his losses? He can sue the ones responsible for the situation.
Read what I said. The police charge someone if they think there is sufficient evidence. The police do use the term though
I agreed with this line of reasoning until someone pointed out he only became unavailable once he breached his bail conditions by throwing a party and thus was put on remand, which is claimed breached his contract.I think that’s damn right n’all. I know it’s all about the contract, but the lad missed out on millions over something that wasn’t his fault.
Well I’ve read his own words. Even his own KC described his actions and views towards women as abhorrent. I wouldn’t let him within a country mile of a female friend or family member. How do you know his attitude to women is repulsive? What if he’s got hypersexuality? Where does being compulsively sexually active fit in with attitudes to women? It’s a condition that affects both men and women.
Someone may have pointed that out but it wasn't how it happened. They didn't put him on remand for breaching pre-charge bail conditions as that would not be legal, they charged him then put him on remand. The breach of bail conditions may have played a part in future bail hearings.I agreed with this line of reasoning until someone pointed out he only became unavailable once he breached his bail conditions by throwing a party and thus was put on remand, which is claimed breached his contract.
That’s on him whether or not he was found not guilty.
He was very stupid to be honest and after he'd been charged he should have kept his head down and not thrown more parties.Someone may have pointed that out but it wasn't how it happened. They didn't put him on remand for breaching pre-charge bail conditions as that would not be legal, they charged him then put him on remand. The breach of bail conditions may have played a part in future bail hearings.
The police noticed the party when then came to arrest him to charge him, but it was not reason they came to arrest him.
Then I’d assume a) we’d have insurance for such instances and b) whatever I think about him as a man, he’s likely due full back pay.Someone may have pointed that out but it wasn't how it happened.
