Thought Haaland was excellent all round, it can definitely be another element to our game to utilise him more directly at times

Good start from City. Kova looked good and great to see the academy graduates involved.
Thought Burnley did ok but their lack of goalscoring threat might hamper them. Same old Burnley fans though.

Good to get the early goal but a bit of sloppiness/rustiness from a few players meant we didn't really establish full control until around the 25 min mark. After that it was really total domination, without creating too many clear cut chances.

Considering the relative fitness levels of both sides, I think it was a very decent overall performance and a very good result. A good workout to help bring us up to match sharpness.

Pep is just unreal. We struggled a bit in the first half, but Haaland did his thing twice.

Second half, I’m not sure they had a chance. His tactical nous has to be the best ever.
