Jack Walker at Blackburn, John Hall at Newcastle, Alan Sugar at Spurs, Steve Gibson at Middlesbrough. They all had a good go at trying to break the monopoly that United had on the league. Could you remember any outcry at the time when they were spending? Probably because it didn’t make a dent on certain teams in red’s monopoly on n the league. Now our owners have come along and deposed them, City are now everything that is wrong about football. We didn’t start the fire though in the words of Billy Joel.

100% -The biggest culprits of all are Sky who started the whole greed fest going soon to be followed by the Champions League etc -and the “Big Five” were clamouring for all this for years before it actually came to pass and us the Chavs and NUFC where nowhere in these conversations.

That move to Barca was dodgy as dodgy gets leave alone inflating transfer fees.

£111 million bid for caicedo only to see him sign for chelsea for £100 million a fee days later. Snubbed!

Bellingham snubbed them earlier in the window after they practically stalked him for 18 months then they pretend they didn't want him and didn't want to spend the money only to throw more money at somebody not as good who also didn't want to sign for them. They'll obviously get somebody in but I'm praying they panic buy a complete flop and caicedo turns out to be pure quality as expected just for the comedy value in thr scouse cults attempts to spin it.
 
As someone else said earlier they'll be in for Wolves players in the morning. Just home when they do that the player snubs them again.
