The PGMOL Apologies Thread

As i have said in another thread an apology means nothing without the situation being resolved.

Ok so you have made an apology but why wont you publicise the audio between the ref and the var official, what do you have to hide? Why wont you make the refs explain why they have come to see these decisions what do you have to hide?

You really don't need to ask do you ?

The rags getting top 4 place is PiGMOL's primary objective.

oh i dont need to ask i know that, what i fail to understand is why it isnt being called out by managers , players etc from the high heavens.

Sure theyll get a fine and maybe a game or 2 ban but then at least the accusations will have to be answered instead of swept aside.

The on field ref didn't think it was a pen.
The 3 or 4 operators in the VAR cabin didn't think it was a pen.
Gary Neville has said it was a stonewaller, tells you everything you need to know about the state of the game.

Any other goalkeeper commits that sort of foul and the ref doesn't hesitate.

The on field ref bottled the decision last night and passed the buck to VAR. They didn't want to give it so kept showing replay after replay after replay from BEHIND the goal. The worst angle, when the best one was from the TV camera position looking down.

It's like they are trying to blinker us making the decision look tough, by keep rewinding the incident and fast forwarding it several times.

VAR should be binned or Howard Webb needs to come out and make these cheats accountable.

Webb's contract specifically is to help not hinder the rags, he will never come out and sabotage the PL's plans

Genuine question, when have you honestly seen the rags suffer at the hands of one of these "contentious" decisions? Contrast against how many go in their favour, tells me all I need to know. What good is an "apology", if those decisions end up being the difference between winning the league, champions league place, survival/relegation? Always said it, but it's legalised match manipulation.

Its not incompetence. It is corruption and its organised.
Which is why no one will get the sack.
It's totally blatant. Just because its England, we
have this idea that corruption in football doesn't
take place. Just how many incidents and examples
do people need before they see it? The Premier
League is bent.

It's back to our old friend exceptionalism. Football's a bit bent in loads of countries so there's no inherent reason it wouldn't be here but lots of people won't have it.

there is literally no angle where that doesnt look like a penalty, you could be looking at it with your eyes shut and still see its a penalty, the only angle where it wasnt a penalty is the angle of them looking at their bank accounts and not the var monitors

I know you understand how it is . All fans know exactly what is happening with VAR and the corrupt decisions it continually ignores.

Football supporters are being cheated by these twats who are using VAR to affect the outcomes that PiGMOL/PL want

Sky use the drama and bullshit regulary to keep their viewing figures, BUT never call for reform or accountability.

No need to ask why really.

"Richard Scudamore Executive Chairman of the Premier League 2016"

"Speaking to Sky Sports News HQ from the Premier League launch in Islington, north London, he said: "Without being disrespectful to any club, we have a strategic plan at the Premier League and the strategic plan says putting a new name on the trophy in every six-year period"

Yet has never explained exactly what that strategic plan is...

I'm not sure if I've missed a rule change, but how is the Ederson 'foul' away at Arsenal, a clear and obvious error from the referee, and then last night's isn't?

I mean we all know the answer, but how is a 6 foot 5 keeper flying out of his net in mid air, and wiping out an attacker not both clear and obvious!

There's just no accountability at all, and despite the fact that Cooper will probably watch it back and think 'fuck sake, that's a stone waller', he can just crack on with the weekends game knowing that there's no repercussions or aftermath to deal with.

Like someone else said, we'll see a less clear and obvious one of those this weekend, which will be given.

And just another thought, the clear and obvious one that Brentford got at the weekend, was incredibly harsh given the parameters of clear and obvious.

Yes it was a penalty, but not sure it was clear and obvious, and yet that one got reviewed and last night's didn't!

Hollow apologies. Whole lot of good that does.
That 1 point could mean the difference between survival or relegation for Wolves.

Can't wait to see all accountability go down the toilet as Jon Moss refs another PL game the coming weekend.

And indeed the reverse whereby the other side gets European competition at the expense of someone else by three points.

Also why is howard webb et al only ever available for interview by sky etc who are just going to let him gloss over the crap, if as he says football isnt bent why doesnt he meet or be interviewed by fans who watch the games and can give him specific examples of why FANS believe that football is bent

Perhaps they should do a review system like Cricket and Tennis, the captains have say 3 reviews per game.
If the captain thinks that the ref should go to the VAR screen (only circumstances that are are deemed worthy) then wouldn't this be a fair alternative?
It would make little difference when they are happy to allow this level of corrupt decision making.

Where did that poster go who supposedly had a recording of the communication between twatwell and VAR on derby day for their offside goal?

Wasn't he an ex ref?

If he wasn't on the wind up then he needs to put his recording in here.
