I'll give you a quick tip. Wumming and trolling the forum is against the rules. And having a pop at City's management, when you're on a City forum (as a fan of another club) is trolling. Now; this is a final warning. Behave yourself.City’s management is not God, they make mistakes, and I have eyes to see the quality of the player. Besides, you’re suggesting that every signing we miss out on is because they wouldn’t be good enough for City, blatantly untrue. He was a thorn every time we played against him, enough for me to know his quality.
Fact is talent is talent and Maddison has it on top of proving it for years in the league for lesser teams. City get things wrong all the time, and this was one of them. Maybe you will realize that when we struggle for creativity in the early months. (Pep will come up with a solution to bail us out though) This whole idea that City are always right is bollocks, we may have had other targets but you cannot dismiss the man’s quality because of that.
Maybe we have friends in the Brazilian FAI have few stupid questions :
If we knew this earlier, why did we approach him altogether?
If we didn't know this earlier, who gave us the lead recently? Or FA does this time alert us.
That's where we are at as a forum now?I'll give you a quick tip. Wumming and trolling the forum is against the rules. And having a pop at City's management, when you're on a City forum (as a fan of another club) is trolling. Now; this is a final warning. Behave yourself.
I thought Garnacho was a cold soup. He played like one against Wolves.Garnacho was a thorn against us at the swamp last time out and the only threat the scum had at Wembley.
Monday against wolves he was like Dill the fucking Dog.
Why on earth would they do that? If he's found guilty, he's looking at a lengthy ban. How does that benefit them?Bit suspicious that there is an investigation now. Wouldnt be surprised if this was conjured up by someone at West Ham to deter City. Cant see us touching him while this is going on.
Thank fuck Paqueta didn’t have a release clause -:)Any of the Einsteins on here figured out how this is all Txiki's fault yet?
We have Kovacic for that.I think this move is off the table, it's unfortunate, but it is what it is.
Seen names flying around like Goncalves, Olmo, Wirtz etc but I think Pep and the board wanted a player that could potentially play as a 6 and an 8 and these players are hard to come by.
Paqueta due to his physical abilities could have adapted well as a 6 in some games and would have been a good fit for us.
I think the worry for Pep is if Rodri gets injured, he clearly just does not trust Kalvin Phillips and clearly does not want him at this football club.
If you can't get on for the last 20 mins when you're 3-0 up against Burnley and you see the likes of Cole Palmer and James McAtee coming off the bench ahead of you, that tells us everything we need to know about how Pep feels about Kalvin Phillips. He just simply doesn't trust him.
If the key is to make sure we have cover for Rodri... I'd like Caqueret from Lyon. Then again... He doesn't create or score much (scored 4 league goals and assisted 7) and we do need creativity with De Bruyne out injured.
Difficult decisions to make now. Not many options on the table for us.

Good post.
If we had signed Maddison, many on here would have been hailing him the second coming of De Bruyne before the ink was dry on his contract.
It's how football works on BM.
There's been countless posts on the forum criticising Phillips, so you've lost me there. That's where we are at as a forum now?
Nobody mention signing Phillips wasn't great business
Well Timber is injured, and Kiwor and Holding aren't even close to being good enough, and Tierney is a sick note whi never plays and may actually be offEderson + Ortega - Ramsdale + Raya
Walker + Lewis - Timber + White
Akanji + Stones - Gabriel + Kiwor + Holding
Dias + Gvardiol - Saliba + Tomiyasu
Ake + Gomez(?) - Zinchenko + Tierney
Rodri + Phillips - Rice + Partey + Elneny
Kdb (injured) + Bernardo - Odegaard + Havertz
Kovacic + McAtee - Jorginho + Vieira + Smith-Rowe
Foden + Palmer - Saka + Nelson
Grealish - Martinelli + Trossard
Haaland + Alvarez - Jesus + Nketah + Balogun.
In terms of depth they are just superior.
City have the best XI but not the best squad.
Criticising the signing of Phillips is questioning the decision of city's management for signing him. If that's the case 95% on here are trolling and in danger of a banThere's been countless posts on the forum criticising Phillips, so you've lost me there.
