Feel sorry for the lad,he seems a decent bloke as well but unfortunately it just hasn’t worked out,for his own sake he should be looking to move on as his career is stagnating..
 
City have to cut their losses here simple as. He knows he’s on a far constant so will need an incentive to go. It will become bitter at some point, for me we won the game the other night but Alvarez got Phillips at the end could of been the change, shows you that Pep is not going to play him
 
The signing of kovacic must have hurt him but he keeps on smiling.
Peps no mug, he would definitely have had more minutes if he thought he could do what’s needed.
It’s almost as if the kovacic signing is peps way of saying you need to move on without hurting the lad. Time will tell.

Kovacic signing had nothing to do with Philips,they were recruited for different purposes.

Well that's all most can do anyway. Even the so called ITK's seem reduced to guessing a lot of the time. In relation to this matter it is one time I would be inclined to snap the dipper's hand off when they knock on the door for one of our players.
