Ha, same here mate.
I finished a big job in April and then packed it in until next month or Oct.
I did the same thing last summer except by this time last year I was ready to go back.
Not this year. One more push (probably until May or June) and I'm chucking my hammer in the lake and throwing away all my grubby old t shirts.

Shit innit, I'd pack it in if I could afford it. I just do enough to get by now, afternoons only and even that's an effort.

I just picked up a nice little house for the winter, still need permits but hope to get concrete in by October. It'll be cold framing and siding but better you than me

Strictly trim these days. I might frame my own house one day but I'm not framing with useless cunts anymore. Plus, all the siding we do now is Hardy board and I hate cutting it.

We're about to start siding my present house with Hardie, I vow never to do it again. Me know like huffing silica
