I wasn’t at that game but I remember it well. Think we went down to 9 men yet still won 2-1. City fans celebrating goals on the pitch at QPR was a common occurrence back thenYou’d never catch me running on the pitch...

No, just no. Certainly not from me anyhow. Why would any City fan be arsed if a United fan did that when a United player scored?I think we all know what the comments would be like if it was a United fan jumping from the stands onto a United player. Just because this guy is a City fan and your bezzie mate doesn't make him less of a moron.
It is clearly stated in the T&C of entry that this strictly forbidden he has now option but to apologise and hope they give him the least severe punishmentThe rational viewpoint here is, what he did was wrong because at the end of the day he broke the rules. Now the fact that it was a joyous and excited fan who was embraced by Haaland himself, does make the situation better. However, clubs dont want to set a precedent where its ok to go on the pitch and jump on players under the justification of doing it out of pure love and passion. Personally, I think Haaland himself might ask the club not to punish him.

3 seasons minimum isn’t it?Wonder what he's thinking this morning, as he's contemplating the inevitable ban that's winging his way. Was it REALLY worth it fella? Yes, football is an emotional game; I get it, I really do. But 20 seconds of madness has cost him dearly in terms of not being able to go to games for what; a season, at least.
I wasn't aware of that when I made that post earlier this morning.3 seasons minimum isn’t it?
Me too. We all make mistakes that others struggle to comprehend. I'd genuinely be curious as to why people feel "entitled" to invade someone's space like that. Can never understand why fans have to jump on the pitch to celebrate with the players when they are surrounded by everyone else.

His jokes are incredibly offensive. And incredibly funny.Just because you’re personally not offended, doesn’t mean other people aren’t.
I personally wouldn’t be offended by a Bernard Manning joke - it doesn’t mean they aren’t offensive.
