More commonly known as Gashpit! Not great but there's worse, mainly naval place, has some nice bits too.
Havant/Leigh Park, other side of M27 slightly east of Pompey is worse than Gosport.

It's officially one of the most depressed towns in the entire U.S.A. (along with places like East St Louis, and New Haven). What's interesting is that you can find, through these online estate agents, what appear to be quite salubrious residences in what appear to be nice leafy streets for about $60,000 to $70,000. Houses that seem to be in good nick, in decent neighbourhoods. There are such areas, apparently. Just nobody wants to live in Gary, Indiana.

I believe Gary Indiana, is most 'famous' for a missing kid, found murdered....says it all I guess.

Upper Vermont is beautiful, the residents are all pretty proud of themselves however. Mu Mother in Law lived just South of Burlington and still tries to compare the Mountains in VT to the ones here in Idaho

I lived close to Limassol for three years and I could never understand why anyone would go there on holiday. It is or was full of Russians and more of a port than a beach destination. There is plenty of nicer places to go from there all within a couple of hours drive . Limassol does have some nice food/restaurants as does all of Cyprus.

Thanks mate. I noticed last time I went to Cyprus and Crete that the Russians were there in numbers at all the nice bits. They swarm in like rats and buy up all the business and property wherever there is financial crisis. Similar has happened in Ukraine. The funny thing is, they have all that cash but can't do the civilised thing and go for a few pints and a meal at the taverna like all other tourists do. They buy vodka from the Russian owned off licence and smash the empty bottles all over the streets for other tourists to walk in. Weird, weird set of bastards.

I went to Burlington many times, Toronto (centre) once....Wonderland alot for kids.....and Bass Pro for me! Last time I went, guy who served me was a Blue (Canadian jcl). Last visit as divorced now.
