Yep, was expecting it.

Willing to pay £90m+ for Rice in a bizzare last minute bid, willing to pay well over the odds in £85m for Paqueta but now won't pay £60m for Nunes.

City have been quite weird this summer transfer window.

The way I see it is we were prepared to pay 80- 90m for Rice or Paqueta because they could cover a few positions.

But then we bought Doku for more than we wanted. So now we don't have 80m+. We have 55m.

I feel we have money but we have value dependant on where that player fits in the squad, Rice /Paqueta would be challenging for a stating spot , nunez with be back up were not willing to pay higher than 55 for back up and who can blame us other than flappers on here

It's all part of the posturing still think this gets done we wud of known all along the price.

Shit situation all around for Wolves - they now have an unsettled player who's not fully committed to the club anymore even if he winds up staying.

Alternatively they let him go for less than they want with 48 hours left in the window
