Quite possible, but it’s a pretty big uplift from £47m to £60m so will depend as you say if the club think he justifies/is worth that sort of fee.

I’m hoping for a happy balance ala the surprisingly ‘low’ figure we got Gvardiol for given the numbers that were being bandied about.
id say it depends if it means that they want 60m total including addons, the last bid was reportedly 47m with addons taking it to 55m, if the total fee including addons is to be 60m then thats not too far away

So we pay an inflated fee for Nunes but we let Wolves peg us back on the price for Doyle….

Surely we would expect to pay a reasonable price for Nunes and allow Doyle to go for a reasonable price…
depends whether we go tit for tat and say we dont agree with their doyle valuation just like they dont agree with our nunes one so we need to negotiate

Doubt either McAtee or Doyle would be interested in going to Wolves. Neither likely to be staters and wolves star seems to be fading. Guess we will pay what we think is fare or move on. Don’t think it would make much difference to the season.

How so, he was brilliant in the championship last season and helped his team to promotion and a semi final, in a world where declan rice goes for 105 in a team that finished 14th and caicedo goes for 115m AND nunes goes for 60m after playing a in a team that was in a relegation scrap last year, how is 10m cloud cuckoo land if anything he is being undervalued
I think that’s the point he was making….in this market massively undervalued at £10M
