Kovacic, so better cover than last year.well lets see if one more comes about. Its if anything happens to Rodri that concerns me, dont think we have adequate cover as things stand.

He's a hell of a lot better than the empty seats on the bench we have to fill out our roster. He's just not that good
What our players are worth, & what clubs are willing to pay for them are two different things.Palmer will get more than 45m. Same with KP.
WHU insiders are mooting such a possibility, as were SSN. Apparently he's the one Pep really wants, but obviously he's got the FA/Brazil/FIFA betting issue to resolve.I wonder if we think we can grind it out until January- the paqueta situation should be sorted by then and we can go back in
I've just got an update from my sources that there is a 100% a chance that something will either happen or not happen.
If you want me to verify that, it'll cost you a tenner.
Where is PhilipsThat sums up why selling Palmer this late in the window would be foolish. Especially when you consider Doku's injury history.
Isn’t the stock answer to this 115 charges?
Hiding behind Rodri.Where is Philips
I agree- but I think it's this dogged negotiating that has seen us through the last 10+ years which have been relatively fruitful. I kind of like that our money men won't roll over like everyone else. That said, I'd like them to bite the proverbial bullet this time.I understand the club has its valuations of what a player is worth and wants to hold firm to it but when the difference is only 5M, you'd expect them to bite the bullet once every blue moon. Especially when there are only two days left in the window.
I think it strengthens the case for selling Palmer for £30m+, & investing the money in Ezé who can play as a left/right winger (as can Doku), plus he's equally adept as a No 8, plus No 10.That sums up why selling Palmer this late in the window would be foolish. Especially when you consider Doku's injury history.
