Don't think they won the Super Cup either.
They won it in 1991.
One off match played at The Swamp v Red Star Belgrade rather than two legs home and away due to war in Former Yugoslavia.

A MASSIVE 22k turned up.

22k for European Final at your own stadium.

How embarrassing is that?

It's not even debatable, anyone who claims Rashford wasn't somehow interfering with play is either just a rag or doesn't understand the game (although I suppose those two things are intrinsically linked to each other anyway)
It sounds a bit soft to say but at that moment my respect for the PL died. I always thought it was one of the best leagues in the world but it turns out it is just like Seria A. Bent as a nine Bob note!!

Boils my piss every time I see that.

100% interfering with play. It is absolutely SCANDALOUS that goal was allowed to stand. The referee and the lino have no excuses for being unsighted. They were both looking at the unfolding situation... and then there was VAR.

That was an absolute PiGMOL 'fuck you' to City. Give the Rag's whatever they want.
That's what makes it particularly scandalous and corrupt from both the on field officials and VAR... it's not as though it was a split second incident that could easily be missed or difficult to interpret, the whole manouvre played out over several seconds giving plenty of time for it to be assessed accurately.

Another home tie in a cup competition.

Now, there’s a shock!
And PL opposition, so people will actually turn up and the club will get 4.5m quid on the gate. Which pays for Donny Van De Beek's wages for another season.
