While everyone has been hyperfocused on Maguire, Ten Hag has shipped out 26 players in 12 months.

Onana is an upgrade on De Gea
Amrabat is an upgrade on Fred
24 year old Mount is an upgrade on 31 year old Erikson
Hojlund is an upgrade on Weghorse, although a tailors dummy would have achieved that.
Mount is an awful signing for the money.

The new striker, well obviously the jury is out on him for now but for that money he needs to get 15+ League goals a season, as well as having a decent all round game.

The rags are hoping that he'll improve on his 9 goal a season and prove the doubters wrong :O

The Mount backlash is a bit weird. He's 24, played 2 games in a new set up with a new team. I dunno why people were expecting Messi?

He's a number 8 who can drift into the number 10. Fernandes played over 60 games last season, more than any other player in all of the European leagues. Ten Hag needed more bodies in that midfield, especially in creative positions. And with more energy than Erikson.

Mount could turn out to be a dud, but judging him from 2 games is a bit too soon. Like others have said, he won the CL with Chelsea and was their player of the season for 2 years on the bounce. He kept Rashford and Foden out of the England team for the Euro's and World Cup, so you know...

How and why do our media just help united create a false narrative. Utd are so fkin cynical cashiong in on this twat whilst trying to tell us they are getting rid.

So he can play inside-left, as well as inside-right?

12 months time, he'll be another Sancho & you'll be blaming the Glazers for not investing
