Protecting a financial asset before accepting responsibility for an employee transgressed human deceny doesn't sit right with me.

And Mendy and any perceived transgression by him, didn't deter City from taking what they believed was the correct action. And he was found not guilty following a court trial.

Two entirely different approaches to similar situations.

That is my last word as we neither know all the facts .
That’s overly simplistic as one was found not guilty in court and one had their charges dropped.

Both clubs acted in the same way once their players had been charged in suspending them.

After that, the situations are totally different.

The rags are a shitshow. Three of their highest profile attacking players are now not available for selection. Tent Peg's pre-season planning must have been destroyed

I don’t particularly, but we don’t know for sure. Of course they will seek to protect a £100m asset if they can.

The fact they haven’t released any further info absolving him suggests to me that they didn't have any.

Ultimately Greenwood hasn’t faced any charges, but has been found guilty. That doesn’t sit right with me, longer term, but in this instance, it’s hard not to see the evidence and think him guilty.
What doesn't sit right with me is that he never faced a court case.

Never forget that banner , the patronising from rag fans from the playground to the office , the pisscan bully, the massive chants 100 verses , I won't be happy until they go out of business
A club who we took pity on and let them use our stadium , only for them to rub our noses in it with the rotating banner year after year after year, I hope they go fucking bump tbh , and the pisscan and Charlton spend the rest of their days eating soup and shitting themselves six times a day in a retirement home.

Have they said Antony won't play?

I actually think him not having a court case stopped him from playing for united.
If he had gone to court and been found not guilty, I think they would have got away with bringing him back into the team.
We were lucky in a way that Mendy’s retrial ended about 5 days before his contract expired.

We never had to comment on anything.

If he had 2 years on his contract, we’d have probably got rid, but we’d have had to make a decision.

You're giving him far too much credit and buying into the rag loving media's usual hype if you think ten Hag ever had a 'plan'.. he's as much of a clueless chancer and bluffer as the paperboy was before him.

That puff piece on BBC Sport written about Tent Peg back in February after the Carabou Cup Final accompanied by a picture of him with a magic wand in his hand has aged well
