West Ham United (A) | PL | Post-Match Thread

I feel so lucky to be a City fan.

3 points away from home. Perfect result.

Erling could have had another hatrick. Lots of shots, both on and off target.
Dominated possession, some lovely passing, good goals.

Voted Doku for man of the match, but lots of good performances. Just a few minutes for Nunes and thought he seemed to settle in well.

How did Coufal get away without a yellow card ? He should have been booked in the first half for the fouls on Doku. The pull back on the neck was a certain yellow but somehow the referee let it go. We’ve seen much less get a card.

Thought we were great in what was a very entertaining match.

West Ham have some good players and are very good on the break as we found out. But we really should have had 5 today we were that good.

That's what Champions do. Play at less than their best, in this instance go a goal down, but win at a canter. When Doku becomes the finished article he will be unplayable.

On another day that's four goals for the Viking, but he won't care.

We'll have tougher challenges of course, but when the home team have won three and drawn one in their first four games, and still park the proverbial bus, things were never going to be easy until we were ahead.

And of course we have the world's best player still out injured.

No doubt Doku is in for a bollocking from pep. But he's going to tear fullbacks a new arsehole this season. We dropped points away at West ham last season so a difficult game,
Alveraz, walker,Eddie,Silva,Doku,Rodri and Akanji all had very good game.
Is it to early to think about maybe scoring away from home at Spuds this season?
we dropped points at west ham last year, is that the game haaland scored 2 in a 2-0 win

Good game that. In the first half if Erling had been his usual best, we would have been a couple up before their goal. Doku was excellent. I called out Bernardo & Haaland for their performances and they then both scored - I'll be slagging them off more often!

3 points away at a tough team (at least this season) - happy as fook with that

Great win in the end, said at half time we created chances and haaland should of scored 2 but had full confidence we would of could score, they played good entertaining football also can see why we were interested in Paqueta, overall great outcome and great away win where a point wouldn’t of been a bad result!

Paqueta is completely wasted in Moyes’ system. He is superb on the ball. I can see why we’re in for him, just surprised we backed off. Hed be incredible in a pep team. Dont think i saw him lose the ball once
Lots of movement in the south American betting circles saying that he still comes to us
