I think he's a good coach too. The performance against Fiorentina in the pre-season(5-0 win) has been very impressive. For some reason, he started tinkering with the starting lineup way too much and they looked completely lost in previous games. Even if they were firing on all cylinders I'd have expected a comfortable win for City, now I'm just even more sure of it. I'm surprised by your comments about Glazer. I thought he was highly rated in Israel as he is your starting goalkeeper in your NT from what I can gather.

This isn't their strongest team, but I doubt you've heard of many of the players that are missing (in fact you probably haven't heard of any). Once Serbian sports news outlet mozzartsport publishes their predicted lineup(they have very good sources within Crvena Zvezda and are usually spot on), I'll give a short rund-down on all players expected to start or be on the bench.
I never rated Glazer. Had an up and down career. I prefer Peretz the new bayern GK to start for the NT and am baffled why Glazer still gets the nod. But yeah Bakhar is a very good coach but I have a feeling he won't last the season sadly.

I don’t know what to expect of these, I’ve never heard of any of their players

You can 100% guarantee if we were in for one of them then we'd have plenty of Blues swear blind that they follow the league every week and other European leagues.

Looking forward to tomorrow. Starting the defence of our European title (sounds so good!) against a team we’ve never faced before who have also won the European Cup in their history.

Hopefully we see the return of a few recently absent players n’all.
Which was shown live on TV here due to Chris Waddle interest, and they played for 0-0 and penalties.

In my 70s and gave up going to evening matches during Covid. Does anyone know if there is a way of watching CL live without entering into an 18 month contract. We have a Sky PL package and BT for broadband/landline. I am not interested in the other TNT sports stuff bur the CL only last for the next 7 months or so.Any advice appreciated

If you have BT broadband you can buy a 30 day rolling contract for £20 a month. If you ring 0800 800 150 it might be worth asking if they have any other offers.

Just an impression what we can expect:

Gazprom on their shirts... (well, it's red star),
non stop drumming,
ultra support only interested in themselves independent from on pitch action,
red flares probably burning down our away section (6:30 min),
interesting err quality on the counter (4:40 min):

Greetings from Down Under from Red Star supporter! After the CL draw I was hoping to see this match scheduled a bit later than this, so that I can get myself organised and fly over to UK. A little bit over a fortnight is bit too much for someone on a shoestring budget. [emoji23] So, Leipzig it is... Although I don't know what expect from the match on Tuesday, especially because we are on a bit of downturn in last couple of weeks, I'm hoping for a decent result (anything less than 4 goals is OK, I guess). As long as boys get out there and give their best, I'll be happy. Cheers to everyone!

You don't need to worry about any of that, as bulk of the supporters are going to be from UK, as boys from Serbia couldn't get UK visa in such a short period of time. To give you a bit of context, couple of years ago, when we played Rangers in Glasgow, there was only couple of hundreds of us (myself included), however more than 75% were living in UK. Vuj is probably (same as he was in Glasgow) gonna be in the away stand.
