Do you think maybe it might be that he isn't being targeted, and he is just a nonce? Or do you have to wait for Ben Shapiro and Jordan Peterson to give their opinions before you can reply?

Yes, he is possibly a nonce. But you seem to struggle with the idea that 2 things can be true at once.

Unless, you are saying it is the case that the government always pressure media sites about their association with every potential nonce.
 
Bizarre that anyone would think that the government gives a fuck about stitching up Russell Brand. A washed up nonce YouTuber with a following of loons that are looking for conspiracies to believe. Why would they deliberately give them ammunition? Makes absolutely no sense.

For what it’s worth I would be very surprised if our government, hateful and incompetent as they are in so many ways, are bothered one way or the other by the nonsense that Brand peddles. If anything they are more likely to use the revelations about his behaviour as a weapon to beat the BBC with

This has got absolutley nothing to do with the Government, for starters they would need to have clear coordinated plan and would then need the conviction to carry their plan through. The one thing I know about the current Tory party is that they are unable to do either.

No, I mean my knowledge or lack there of on why he may be targeted isn't evidence he is or isn't.
