Tyson Fury v Francis Ngannou farce - Result confirmed it!

Thing is for Fury, this will shake him out of his malaise. As much as that decision was bent, it’s like I said, it was sparring for Fury and yes of course he thought it would be easy and got a shock, but a decision for Ngannou just didn’t help anything. There was a point in the 8th, I think, where Ngannou had a chance to throw a punch when Fury was reeling in the corner and he passed it up, that was when I knew what was going on.

The whole 8th round thing is a product of learning in the UFC. He got caught in the Miocic fight with the same problem and changed his fighting IQ after that.

No way they was gna let Fury lose that fight wen the next deal is worth like 300 million to fight Usyk.
Totally agree. No way he could have gone into that fight after a defeat tonight. That might be me done with boxing for a bit. Too many strange decisions. Too many pro v YouTuber fights making me think it’s not a sport anymore, it’s entertainment. More in common with WWE than anything else

Agreed. But to the various people on here who think Fury just lost, do you HONESTLY think Fury would have fought like that in the last few rounds if he did know already he was assured the win? That's quite naive of people if they think that IMO. You don't ruin your 100% unbeaten record without at least trying...and he really didn't try.
Although there’s an element of truth, especially in scoring terms, did you see the score card of the 2nd judge??? Outrageous… fury also didn’t go full assault as he was being countered, quite comfortably, inside every time he attempted an attack, was folly for that reason alone

I watched it and there's absolutely no chance Fury won 7 of those rounds

Honestly he probably did
Awful performance by Fury but most rounds the other fella landed nothing so Fury’s jabs took the round
The fact FN had the 2 biggest rounds is irrelevant it’s still just 2 rounds won, gets you no more than winning a round behind a jab

Like the post says watch it back

Those saying it was scripted how do you account for him throwing knockout punches ?

If people think that the judges might be bent well fair enough but I struggle to think it was scripted
Scripted in that the result was always going to be Fury’s unless he was KOd.

To keep the Usyk fight as the big one and for boxing’s HW champ not losing to a UFC fighter. Boxing wouldn’t have allowed it.

What actually happened in the ring wasn’t scripted but that result was always happening.

This is only similar to if a YouTube fighter lasts the whole bout with an actual professional boxer.

He's happy cos he knows where the level is to reach and he traded with "the world's best"!

One SHOULD celebrate those factors when you've never fought a professional bout ever, in boxing.

The constant dismissal and lack of appreciation of this fact is annoying on this thread.

Not having that, sorry!

If you put in the performance of your career only to be let down by a bent decision, you don't just bend over and take it and high five everyone on your way down.

Not unless you already knew what was coming.
