Multiple teams look like a huge points hual, Spurs, Arsenal and Liverpool. I think this is a season with low points at bottom half and 6 or so teams at top miles ahead. We can't afford any more dropped points so early in seson after those last two lossesI would prefer we didn't get our third loss this early in the season.
We had three losses all of last season. We may end up having more margin for error as the season goes along as no team looks like a juggernaut right now, but I rather not test the limits right now.
All this shit in here about “Pep learning”, fucks sake he is a wonderful manager, maybe the best in history, every team loses the odd game, particularly against another top side, it has always happened and always will, that’s life/football. Personally the last thing I want is Pep learning any of the shit posted in hereHope Pep has learnt from Arsenal.
No dicking around, get back to basics, stuff the starting XI with treble winners and smash them. Bring the newbies off the bench as needed.

as of today we are 6 points worse off than last season fixture to fixture, this is a fixture we lost last season so here is a chance to improve on that.
I think we need to be really bad to lose this game, missing good chances and conceding from half chances at the back. (to be fair that keeps happening, often with first shot on target from opponents)
dont forget refereeing, last year it played major role in our loss here, dont expect it to be any better. what we need to make sure dont drop our heads even if ref is fucking us or we concede one make sure we dont concede another one quickly after that.
we dont have that kind of top form in scoring to rip teams apart with 4/5 goals, if we concede two possibly we dont win.

Well put but I don’t look forward to derby games……;-)Having been to dozens of derby games over the years and the dislike i have for the Rags this game really isnt bothering me , last season i was annoyed because we were absolutely robbed , if the Rags had beaten us with legitimate goals i would have thought C'est La Vie , the underdogs have scraped a win in full knowledge we had every chance of lifting trophies later in the season
Having not lived in Manchester area for over 20 years and our dominance over the Rags , i can just about handle a team of chancers scraping a narrow victory , it just doesnt hurt like it used to. Probably because our next derby win and trophy is just around the corner , the Rags are alsorans and i love it when we hammer them and put them back in their box , but losing to a team that depends on officials and VAR , hard work and defending for their lives , they are just paying us the ultimate respect , they are shit scared of a proper hiding today , in contrast our worry is they get a dodgy decision and ride their luck and scrape a result.
The big difference between the clubs now is our supporters look forward to derby games with confidence the Rags fans look at derby games with trepidation and damage limitation in their thoughts.
I'd start Doku, get a few goals ahead and put Jack on to keep the ball in the fridgeIt appears a lot of posters are suggesting the same team and the only decision is Grealish or Doku , which is a difficult one , Grealish has showed in the Champs league in midweek that his fitness issues appear to be behind him but Doku has been brilliant in his absence.
Would start with Grealish and have Doku on the bench , he would be a great impact player , where as Jack would keep possession , draw fouls and take the sting out of any momnetum the Rags try to build.
