Having watched Cumming's evidence this afternoon it certainly destroys the Tories arrogant claim that they are the party of natural leaders. Johnson is clown but he also is a dangerous clown.

He was the Pinocchio of politics.
Started as the puppet of the ERG, and then thought he could become a real boy.
Didnt work out well.
 
No matter what occurs Johnson will get away with it.

He'll have his cushy job on GB News talking shite to the gullible Gammons who will sympathise with his mea culpa opening speech.

I've never been an advocate for violence. However I could make an exception for him and Matt Wanksock. It wouldn't surprise me if somebody did they'd both come out of it smelling of roses and that's a damning critique of who and where we are as a country.

No - I just think like Trump there are people who we assume are intelligent and objective fall into their orbit and become enamoured of them and cannot/refuse to find or see any fault. In Trumps case right until some of those people face jail time when they come to their senses in Johnsons case I suspect some will need to face ruination to see the ridicule and contempt in which they are held before they quickly try and salvage something of a career
