It is an offence under Section 363 of the Communications Act 2003 to watch live on any channel, TV service or streaming service, or use BBC iPlayer* on any device without a valid TV licence.
"Same fucking lies with depressing frequency
Said we had to do it.. to keep us clean"

Crass.

This is very true. I was video chatting to a mate of mine that lives out in Thailand once, City were playing on Sky.

He was watching it as well and suddenly said "oh, City have scored!"
"No they haven't!"
"They have, look!"

Faced the camera to his TV, took about 15 seconds after that for City to score on my telly, and he was 6000 miles away!
This is why you should never bet in running or in play, they have a delay to 'live' sport for betting purposes or so I was led to believe anyway.

There was a time when any player who put on the rag shirt was automatically selected for their country.
That's true but I think it has as much to do with (eg) the weakness of the England manager's position as bias.
Every one off them is under scrutiny from the media. None of them, in my lifetime, has ever had charge of a truly great team.
Therefore, knowing the team would be likely to slip up - and when they did, the press (especially England-s mob) would be all over them with "how come [insert good player fom unfashionable club here] is picked ahead of the latest Yanited wonderboy?", they tend to keep themselves out of the firing line.
It's no coincidence that England are doing better at a time when Utd only started one Englishman on the field and one more on the bench in the Manchester Derby.

Real Madrid may decide to trigger 23-year-old Norway striker Erling Haaland's Manchester City release clause when it comes into play next summer, which is believed to be around 200m euros (£174m). (AS - in Spanish)

Of course, now that they don't want Mbappe, this will be reported on a daily basis for the rest of the season.

Didn’t @tolmie's hairdoo say there wasn’t a release clause, and it was all cartel media hope reporting?

While pep is our manager there is no release clause!

Thought that was common knowledge now after the reports about it when we first got Haaland! Lazy media as per usual!

Think Haaland eventually end up there but in 3/4 years

Don't forget Sergio was going there for 10 seasons straight. Whose to say that Haaland wants to go anywhere he seems very happy at City. The grass isn't always greener. Really pisses me off this narrative about our players going to Madrid. Non of them have to date.

The betting sites are the most accurate for scores, they can often flag up a goal before Sky/TNT does and they’re well in front of the Sky Soccer Saturday goal programme.

Obviously some of the shit they throw about has stuck in your mind.

Exactly how many of our most important players over the last ten years have left us at their peak and/or against our wishes?
Sane… is the only one that really springs to mind. But even he’s a bit doubtful of ‘at peak’, due to the lengthy recovery from the Liverpool leg chopper, delaying his move till the next year.

Odd isn’t it, that that injury is hardly ever mentioned when tackles and bad refereeing decisions are discussed, couldn’t be because the opposing team wore red, could it?!?
