PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

Any incoming regulator isn’t going to be going back and reviewing old decisions.

The tribunal panel will encompass extremely competent, respected KC’s who can demand an absolute fortune for their services. They’re not going to be putting themselves in position to be leaned on to make any ruling, nor are they going to allow any partisan considerations to influence their decisions.
Don’t overestimate the infallibility if KCs.

ref your last paragraph I was thinking the very same. Maybe another super league but this time make it a FIFA superleague and a version of the champions league, a FIFA World Series even. Freeze out the red shirt teams. Of course this is probably fantasy stuff but clubs who are tired of the status quo may have little choice.
Let's say this was to happen, their messing with the fabric of English football.
Remember the outcry from all fans,(even the red tops)
You would imagine they would be screening in front of half empty stadia.
Would be interesting to see the hypocrisy of the red tops.
I know the yanks wouldn't give a fuck as it's a world wide audience.
The government are not going to allow this to happen, one reason we need this indipendant regulator.
Some part of me hopes this will happen.
The rag fan base is so fuckin needy, l sincerely hope our owners see this threat if that's what it is and have contingency plans.

CAS ruled on the basis of balance of probabilities and found UEFA never even came close to satisfying that standard. It will take some very compelling evidence to demonstrate that City, Big 5 auditors and Etisalat 'probably' committed fraud.

They ruled on comfortable satisfaction rather than balance of probabilities.

He represents 90% of non-City fans in my experience.

If you want to shut down a City FFP discussion, just ask what have City allegedly done & what we've been charged with. Guaranteed it's discussion over & done with. \0/

I asked a dipper this at kids footy this morning.

“Being cunts” was his response.

I got off.

The funny thing about all these Bollocks about FFP and punishing clubs is The Premier League invited outside investments to all those clubs, Fit and Proper tests were taken. The Premier League Welcome them with open arms and the money clubs spent on new players. top-level managers and building better stadiums were all applauded, Then the Premier League used them to promote the league worldwide by helping them sell the TV rights.

So what happened, Well that's the easy Question, United Stopped Winning Titles. it was so easy to see.
The Premier League was becoming stale and a one-club league with United winning so many titles in a space of 10 years, Even the so-called Mighty Liverpool could never get close to winning the title,

The Glazers are not the problem at United it's the 4 or 5 other clubs that have had outside investments and are mostly likely to win the title before United win it again,

Fuck United I say, The Premier League is doing very well with selling the tv rights without them winning the title.
I even think the Premier League have finally seen they don't need United being top dogs anymore because the worldwide fan base likes watching the best players and managers playing great football at other clubs than United.

FFP did not work in the only job it was set up for Stopping Manchester City, Now United are fucked and the Media Scum reporters are scraping the bottom of the barrel that keeps them in a job
This is their last throw of the dice.

If, as was reported the panel involves the Arsenal supporter I’d bet his bias would be crushing, just because he’s a KC it doesn’t mean he would look at the case with 100% balance.
Rosen has been a KC for 30 years now, with a long and respected career behind him. I can put your mind at rest now that he’s not going to bring himself or his chambers into disrepute by letting the football team he supports influence anything.

I don't know if you bothered to read how it works, the whole panel is the judge, the jury (and the executioner.) But that clause is really worrisome for me. They do not need to find us guilty or caught red-handed on any single charge, just to have a hunch we are guilty WE ARE DONE!
And the geezer who picked the panel to find make judgement had also picked the appeal panel. From the same pool of 'the experts'. Just to think somebody thought this out without any questions asked is insane. Unbelievable Jeff!

Stop spreading shite.

“Hunch” has got fuck all to do with legal judgements.

Ffs.

Hunch --> balance of probability (my take)

If you have to add your educated guess to this debate after reading the article, please contribute, otherwise in the most polite way... hop off!

It only is he a Tarquin fan he could also have a bit of a beef with Abu Dhabi helping Palestinians. I’m hoping you’re right but I’m not confident.

Here's my play on this whole saga, day before the "independent government regulator" is at the helm we'll be found guilty, have points deducted from multiple years stripping us of titles and a 100 point deduction effectively kicking us out of the PL.

Next day regulator will quash it all, PL will say it did all it could.
