PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

Not everything has to be online but your entire argument for it being real was that someone posted it on the forum...

I simply don't believe that if this was true it didn't appear in any of the reporting about Mancini when he joined, or any of the reporting around the der spiegel leaks - Mancini already working for Al Jazira would be a major part of that story.
I remember it reported at the time.

No I'm pretty sure that it's true.

I really doubt it as there was a bit of a furore at the time of how long we’d been courting Mancini. He himself then said he’d had his very first contact with both Khaldoon and Mansour two weeks before he signed the contract with us.

Surely it shouldn’t matter what City or Liverpool think, did or agreed?
It’s against PL rules so they should enforce it.
In theory but it shows there was no real loss or damage which is not a great starting point for a PL investigation

Noted with interest the PL first proposed to Everton a 6 point penalty plus 1 point for every 5m over spent = 10 points. This was rejected and the panel then came back with a straight 10 point penalty [emoji15] WTF ?

Anyone on here like to take a stab at would could be claimed as the total of financial ‘irregularities’ should all claims be proven against us ?

We could then divide by 5 and add 6 for the potential maximum point deduction [emoji15][emoji23]

It sounds more like someone has been sharing a key for their house in order for others to take stuff out (with permission) but has then assumed the same people wouldn’t do the same when their permission was revoked. The question being, were the people told their permission was revoked?
Wtf are you on about?

No loss or damage maybe but surely it’s a sporting advantage or some other charge?
Bringing the game into disrepute, behaving like cunts towards a fellow PL member, there must be something.
It’s criminal which should surely be against a rule.

I'm not suggesting you couldn't, at the time, have found a breach of a rule. Of course, you could. I am saying that a) it was ages ago b) it was not a big deal otherwise City wouldn't have settled.

Oh I’m sure they would have come up hastily with some rules if it was City doing the hacking ..

Just imagine if it had been the other way around and it was City doing the hacking. We would have never heard the last of it from their mad fan's and the media.

I’m not buying point a) considering it’s after the beginning of our charges.
Point b) should also be irrelevant as I’ve already stated it doesn’t matter what City or Liverpool think.
If it’s against the rules they should be charged regardless of the severity of the rule break.
You know and I know if the shoe was on the other foot we’d get nailed to the nearest door.

Who’s this bell whaft ffs

We just need to wait for the ESL legal case to complete next month and, assuming it is to UEFAs advanatage, this charade will be closed out.

The US hedges won't exactly be burnt to the ground but they will be with us and not against us. The owners that is and not the clubs and fans. Tribal rivalries are good for the £££.

Billionaires doing billionaire things. The redshirts have had their fun but they've turned. The threat to the PL with all this shit and the subsequent threat to PL ££ if it continues is too much for them to bear. Then, of course, is the threat of a sovereign as a REAL enemy in the boardrooms. That's where they risk being burnt to the ground and why they are playing ball now albeit with a bit of quid pro quo with Liverpool

As I said yesterday, it's hard to get your head round us being onside with Liverpool. But it is only for the purpose of moving this forward and it's good to have a rival on the pitch!

Chelsea/Arsenal already done - we have too much influence at both clubs.

United - City wanted Ratcliffe not Qatar. City have influence with Raine who were broking the deal. And Mubadala have joint ventures with Ineos.

Spurs - no one gives a shit. They will just hold on to the shirt tails.

You are to the charges what Tolmie was to the transfers. I've missed my fix.
