He posted a video on his Instagram 5 days ago of his running on a treadmill and doing some weights with a personal trainer.

I assumed it was specific training he was being put through whilst not with Brazil.

Dang. I was hoping Konate wasn't going to be fit but he's seemingly in training today. I rate him a lot and think he's better suited than most CB's in the league, mostly from a physical standpoint, of slowing down Haaland.

I still think our midfield will be too much for theirs.

McAllister is not a defensive midfielder even though Klopp is playing him in that position. He could play Endo there, but I'm not sure he trusts him.

Yeah, that's definitely their weakest position. Both are good players but very slow.

They play a pretty high line. I'd like us to get that through ball into space behind their back line a bit more often to give the beast more to feed off.
As we know - feed the beast and he will score....a hat trick!

They play that highline because Konate is so fast. VVD has looked back to his pre-injury pace as well.

Yep, De Zerbi did the same at Brighton, he let the Argentinian Mason Mount play once in his preferred 8/10 position and then shunted him further back due to his invisibility.

The Brick (yes, really) and the Winslow Hotel are the best two Everton pubs by far according to the Echo survey of their fans. But you’ll have to walk out of the city centre for them.
City centre will be treacherous AF I’d say.

Hopefully Rodri can get through Liverpool and Spurs without a booking. Wouldn't be the worst thing in the world if he picked up a yellow against Villa as he would only miss Luton at home which is our easiest game on paper before the reset.

Probably his best game for us. Was everywhere and fully deserved his goal.
