The 3 statues of Sergio, Kompany, Silva are excellent. My only disappointment is Sergio’s statue isn’t depicting the very moment and pose when he struck the ball to score the goal that won City the title, rather than him celebrating and waving his shirt in the air after he scored that famous goal.

PS. Joey Barton should have got a statue of him receiving the red card. It changed the game and the destiny of the PL title.

Very hard to tell from that pic but in fairness even Pep can't make the sun come up earlier.

Will be dark tonight too so Sunday will be first day to see it properly.

I think it looks great and something the ground has been missing. I prefer this style of statue to the other ones we have.

Ah but we'd need two different statues for Sir Joey of Barton. The other one being for the red card he received against Spurs at half-time.

I surmise that Buzzer will be slightly embarrassed about him being in that.

I've said in the past that I'm not wild about statues outside stadia, especially when they're of players who are still alive. And I stand by it. But if there was going to be one, it's that trinity.
I regret the fact that most people never get to see the Trautmann statue, since it's in the reception area. He's as much a legend as anyone who's ever played for City. He really is a “legend” for me, in the proper sense of the word, because I never saw him play, and have only read and heard stories about him. Same for Peter Doherty.
