them playing nunez means only one thing....they are playng on the break...balls into the channels in behind the fullbacks....we need to keep possession in the mid third....any loss of it and we are exposed...this ins mor like the scouse team of when Pep first joined which we struggled against...lots of pace and wll sit deep in their own mid third and play on the break......

Just 8 subs and 2 are keepers. Pretty much no attacking options off of the bench. Wouldn't be surprised if we make a move for an attacker in January.

Starting XI looks great, more defensively solid, they'll have to get the job done.

I agree. Stones being on the bench is good to see but our bench is pretty lightweight today.

I just hope there are no controversial VAR decisions that'll ruin things. Although I'm normally confident of a win I think it will be an entertaining 2-2 draw.

Happy enough with that given who is available. A woeful lack of attacking options though, their bench is substantially stronger than ours so we need to start this on fire and win it early, they'll be the stronger side the longer its a tight game.

Have to play this a little bit differently, use the ball over the top to haaland against their high backline, It's easily exploited and just keep getting the ball to doku 1v1. TAA's getting subbed at halftime if he survives that long.

I'll take a 1-0 right now but feel like we are either going to spank them or drop points.
