It happens every week. Those who control the narrative during or just after the game, on commentary, set the headline for the week and it is inevitably Neville and/or Carragher. 'Soft' penalty one week bought the card the next and the papers run with it for the week until the next game. Whether the scribblers and hacks have been doing the job too long and can't be arsed to come up with their own views (or write about what they saw), or whether they ever had that ability in the first place, is unclear.

And so we have this weeks gem. Ratboy reckons TAA is the new or better than KDB.

It's difficult to know where to start with this one. I understand, in truth, that there is very little for Liverpool to take away from this one, but lets look at the facts. Doku tore him a new one and he needed 2 or 3 covering him. Another 12 months under his belt and Doku would have tracked him back - Jack would have. TAA is an ok footballer but they couldn't find a position for him as he isn't a fullback, so the team has to suffer. He has been playing this 'hybrid' role for 5 mins and will get found out - meanwhile Kev has been the best creative midfielder for some years. To make the comparison is as insulting as it is ridiculous. He didn't have to think too long to come up with a motm - Bernie ran the game with some exquisite touches and intelligent play and was better defensively.

One thing is clear his dislike of us goes way above of his dislike of Liverpool.
There was an instance in yesterday’s game were doku ran through and I think I was jota chasing him back. Doku got passed him and we almost scored. When it showed the replay Neville said jota should have brought doku down and taken the yellow. Remember the shite this hypocritical bastard used to throw at Fernandinho week in week out! Dark arts, tactical foul. Blah blah. It’s clear to see he has an agenda and tries to push points to suit. Wanker of the highest order!

Hilarious taksh*te presenter sincerely asking why people shouldn't agree with Everton's apparent standpoint that 'they feel it's unfair that clubs like City were allowed to invest £700m in the late naughties, and built an empire that now keeps feeding them money, when Everton now aren't allowed to.'

What a plonker.

Perry Groves put him partly in his place by saying that City made good investments, and Everton didn't. Which made FFP do what it was originally intended to

He neglected say that Everton voted for the damned thing, or that didn 't exist inthe early days of our takeover.

Watched the Everton v rags and garnacho scored the overhead kick on Bein sports I swear to god the commentator had an ejaculation and went on the sat many times that the goal will be shown for years to come like the granny shagger.

It will do it was a great goal. What I’m sick to the back teeth of though is pundits constantly moaning about what a shame it is for Everton. Karen Carney today on sky saying it’s such a shame for the fans. Havens heard a peep from any pundits saying the same about us!

The likes of Sky aren’t there to report on the game, they pay huge sums for the product so use their broadcasts to influence those that are likely to pay for their services.

Carney will have been given a narrative, the rest will already know what that is for their part, and each and every one of them, whether by allegiance or financial game, will play their part for their own benefit.

Be careful we have lurkers and tell tale tits ( a friendly terminology I remember from my schooldays lol ) amongst our own fans on here. They will screenshot this and send it to a " Journalist" who will then post it on their twitter account or similar and twist it that you are a demented City fan calling for them to be attacked.

I know this from recent personal experience. The redshirt followers will then pile on and other journalists who follow them. Apparently Bluemoon is the worst website on the planet for crazed vile fans. They've obviously never visited rawk, but there again as the majority of these "Journalists" are friendly towards them they certainly won't see any criticism of themselves there.
We're Bluemoon,
We're vile,
We're off our fucking heads...

There seem to plenty of big wins in the WSL but its only a problem when City get one
Exactly this.

This weekend was game week 8… looking back at game week 6’s results:
United 5 - 0 west ham
Chelsea 3 - 0 everton
Leicester 2 - 6 Arsenal
… can’t remember reading headlines about dominating then, despite those 3 winning teams scoring 4 more goals than this weekend… no, what I did read was that City had lost 1-0 to amazing Brighton and City had issues with their misfiring attack iirc.

The narrative is always negative City.
City lose - plucky underdog winners
City win - too dominant

The build up to the end of last season was all about ‘this is Manchester United’ potentially (and succeeding to) pipping City to the CL spot.

They can show Shrek's shinner and yesterday's goal as often as they like if that's all they get to celebrate. The number of crayon scrawlers producing giddy articles about the goal shows how desperate the rag infested media are for anything that keeps them in the news.

I had to turn SSN off this morning after half an hour, they've got it on repeat as one of the best PL goals ever FFS.

With all the relevant and important news going on in the UK and around the world that BBC News should be putting on their main news page, they instead put…..
