Can’t see Pep accepting the England job ever! Especially after the way City have been treated by the two governing bodies.

Not sure Pep would take any countrys managers job.
It would mean Pep working with less talented players than at club level.
It takes most players a season to get what Pep wants.
Can see Pep not being able to do that with only 3 or 4 weeks of training sessions each season.

Nah we were in trouble when that goal stood. It was 1-1 and we were poor in that first half. I know what you mean though, I'v been wondering if they do the same, IE give us whoopers in out favoutr when it doesnt matter so they can say it all evens itself out.
I think trouble is a bit strong but it was a pretty even game. Personally don't think the goal should have stood and it definitely would have affected Fulham. My only beef is the way it's been reported compared to other "iffy" decisions.

No because if Manu had diverted the ball the goal would have been disallowed.
Clearly Leno knew Manu was stood in what is technically an offside position due to his reaction afterwards.
As a top level keeper Leno should know Manu couldn't play the ball therefore if he is blaming his slow reaction on Akanji's position it's his own fault.
Manu is not in Leno's line of sight either.
if it’s Rashford jumping that ball & Ederson diving late, I’m pretty certain you’d be calling for offside

Take those blue specs off mate ;)

If it was Rashford there would hardly be a peep from the media.
Dippers first goal on Sunday allowed whilst keeper's view clearly blocked, unlike Leno on Saturday but nothing said as it benefits one of those red arse cheeks.
If it's so contentious, why are we still waiting to hear Red Howard's apology to Fulham or an official complaint from Fulham Football Club?

We all know it would be given, the same way ratface Bruno's goal was allowed after the ref rightly disallowed it. Fulham can moan all they like, once we sorted the mess that was the first half out, they were never getting anything out of that game.

I get you’re annoyed at what happens in the media, but nothing you’ve mentioned is in any way relevant to Ake’s goal being offside

It should’ve been disallowed

I'm still waiting for someone to show me where the goal shouldn't stand according to the current Laws of the Game.
No apology from Webb and no official complaint from Fulham.
You're entitled to your opinion however everything I've stated above is fact and anything else is just white noise.
