PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

The last thing we need is more opinion. I saw a clip of twosips being interviewed for Talksport the other day and he just gave it a dismissive "I don't care" we know what we saw and it wasn't the players fault etc. Largely got torn to pieces for it. The interviewer, some rag supporting lass who I didn't recognise even asked "city facing over 115 charges" because she was so thick! She's heard "over 100" and clearly got confused.

I did think twosips could have done a better job and actually said something along the lines of Everton having nothing to do with us, CAS ruling in our favour, our fine being for non-cooperation which was a result of UEFA leaking confidential information to the press, and the time-barred elements being items we were willing to defend rather than something we got away with.

But I also don't blame him for dismissing it and just concentrating on the football - which is what we all should be doing!
I’m with Steven a bit on that. I haven’t seen or heard the clip, but there’s nothing to say barring we’ll see.

Sounds like he could have said what you suggested, but the comeback will always be “Yeah, but 115 charges. They can’t all be wrong, can they?”

BBC is fucking scum head to toe. Did you see that news report about the U.A.E last night? Total fucking hatchet job, making out like making business deals at a global convention is a war crime.

It’s getting to the point where I don't see how you can pay that license fee and call yourself a City fan.
They were discussing offshore wind facilities with UK gov. The bastards.

Don't care what his title is. He greatly needs Manchester votes to keep his job.
Most armchairs are rags hence it probably wouldn’t be in his interest to publicly support our position. He could though decide to support our position because that would be the right thing to do in spite of probably costing him votes. Dr Martin Luther King ‘it’s never the wrong time to do the right thing’.

Andy ‘Where’s the camera?’ Burnham.

I just plain disagree with the figurehead role of mayor of Manchester being a scouser.

Once Starmer wins the election next year and the first by-election in a winnable seat crops up, Burnham will step down as mayor, be back as an MP and sat round the cabinet table.

He’s using Manchester as a convenient stepping stone.

What would you expect him to say? Like us, he has no idea of what has been submitted and, like us, would be wise to await any judgment and the associated evidence that will accompany it.
Then comment.
It didn't stop others though. Vincent Kompany spoke on it and so have others. I don't see why it is "wise" for him to say nothing

Keep your powder dry. That’d be my advice. Then, if all goes as we hope, bring out the cannons and let the 500 gun salutes begin. Until then...let the haters hate. It’ll only be sweeter.

Kompany is a former player and a key part of our early success. He's also the manager of another PL club and was asked about it in press conferences. That's a bit different to a politician who is a supporter of Everton and clearly has no fucking idea what he's talking about. From what he's said he listened to a few whining Evertonians and decided it can't have been fair and makes some absolute howlers in his assessment of what has happened.
