running with Psoriatic arthritis (diagnosed earlier this year at now 35) is a killer.
really want to be doing 4/5 or even 6 runs a week but I'm struggling to do more than 3.
3 runs a week is what they say is best for you, your damaging yourself with anymore .
I suppose on the good part I do longer runs rather than multi shorter runs.
Nothing seems to get rid of the pain apart from Prednisone, but that just piles the weight on you
lol who is thisWell done Jon
BrilliantPB at Wilmslow 10k too , 41.32 .Very fast course. Will take that as a 51 year old :)
Nice one mate, certainly well deserved with all the work you put into it.PB at Wilmslow 10k too , 41.32 .Very fast course. Will take that as a 51 year old :)
Get spending, you can never have enough pairs of trainers mateWent to my parents in Wales after the dipper game and took my trainers so I could get a run in on Sunday. Left my pissin trainers(Asics) which are fairly new. Last night I had to run in my old Nikes which are split and well past their sell by date. Dilemma time..I either buy a new pair right now, or struggle until I pick em up at Chrimbo. :-/

I'm on it pal. Pair of these fuckers just bought. My others are running shoes, these are for more off road. Lovely colour wouldn't you agree;-)Get spending, you can never have enough pairs of trainers mate

Nice work if you can get it! ;-)
Probably about 9 or 10 I use for daily training. Then there's the race ones, then there's a pile of "used" onesWhat's the current total in rotation at the moment?
I must admit, my chips n peas were a bit sore last night after my run. Only one more run in the old ones then I'll have my new spankers. Cheers for the advice mucker.Nightmare, don't run in knackered trainers though, won't be doing your body any favours.
I would say most serious runners need at least 2 anyway. It depends how often you run as well. If its more than 3 times a week I'd get a 2nd pair as on most modern trainers the foam needs time to recover. It does depend on brand and model though.
Worth a shot mate, had seen them being cheap as chips on sportshoes. Let us know how they areI'm on it pal. Pair of these fuckers just bought. My others are running shoes, these are for more off road. Lovely colour wouldn't you agree;-)
