Feels like our entire attacking play is centred around just getting Doku 1v1 and then play off what he does. Unfortunately, that also seems to be our tactic when hes not on the pitch too, we looked completely hopeless before him and alvarez came on.

It's a tactic that's been working more than it isn't but as a team, we really need to improve our attacking play.

The only 'control' Jack offers is the controlled 5-4-1 deep block he allows the opposition to get into after dilly-dallying on the ball for the umpteenth time, nasty wing work. He needs to play centrally or subbed on in the last 10 mins to see the game out, thats where his gamesmanship can be used.

People who say his end product is lacking are not seeing the bigger picture in terms of his impact. I like Grealish but his form has dipped considerably compared to last season and right now Doku is ahead of him for that position.

He contributed to the change in the game: he helped raise the tempo and had their defence on edge. He also attracted multiple opponents to him when he had the ball.
