Changed the game yet again.

Feels like our entire attacking play is centred around just getting Doku 1v1 and then play off what he does. Unfortunately, that also seems to be our tactic when hes not on the pitch too, we looked completely hopeless before him and alvarez came on.

It's a tactic that's been working more than it isn't but as a team, we really need to improve our attacking play.

Did nothing to change the game. That was down to the Ake and Alvarez subs. At this point people are just seeing things that aren't there with this guy. It's genuinely weird.
Almost got to admire the commitment to the trolling.

How many players did he leave on the floor in his short cameo? I counted at least 3

He is a real big moment player. Got balls of steel to do what he does with such relenting endeavour.
Jack for control, Doku for attack.
He won the game for us tonight.
The only 'control' Jack offers is the controlled 5-4-1 deep block he allows the opposition to get into after dilly-dallying on the ball for the umpteenth time, nasty wing work. He needs to play centrally or subbed on in the last 10 mins to see the game out, thats where his gamesmanship can be used.

Some shocking posts in here again.

I think we now know where the phrase 'football fans are fickle' comes from.

Doku stretches the opposition back line because he hugs the touchline more than Grealish and his skill at beating his man means double-marking him is often a necessity. People who say his end product is lacking are not seeing the bigger picture in terms of his impact. I like Grealish but his form has dipped considerably compared to last season and right now Doku is ahead of him for that position.

He's also a lot quicker and more direct than Jack. Certain games we need Doku other games we will need Jack.

Nonsense.

He contributed to the change in the game: he helped raise the tempo and had their defence on edge. He also attracted multiple opponents to him when he had the ball.
