The term 'crisis' gets thrown around far too loosely, but it certainly applies to Spurs in their current state. We couldn't ask to play them at a better time. With that being said, they do still have some firepower up front in Kulu, Son, and Johnson. Good attacking fullbacks in Udogie and Porro and Lo Celso and Bissouma are solid midfielders.

They've done a good job of building their squad in my eyes.

---------------Ederson
Lewis---Akanji---Ake---Gvaridol
---------------Rodri
-------Bernardo-----Foden
Doku-------Haaland-----Grealish
The Hammer of the Gods

Hopefully Pep will give a positive update tomorrow on Stones and he is available to play if not, I would start with Ake and Akanji as our cb pairing. Good opportunity on Sunday against an injury hit Spurs, keep Son quiet and we should be ok.

City v spuds Maine road 1967 the mard fuckers wouldn’t be playing on it today

I know we're going through a strange period, with inconsistent play due to key injuries and players not on form, but i think we'll win this comfortably.

This was usually a tough match up for us, but Kane has now gone and Maddison is injured, so we just have to concentrate on Son.
If we can stop the ball getting to him, or if it does, stop him, i'm not sure they have enough to trouble us.

3-1 to us.
I’d like a clean sheet

Hey mates, some questions, hopefull you can help:

- when is it possible to enter the stadium before kick off?

- we want to watch Newcastle Man United in a pub, which is the best in the Centre for city fans?

I was a few times in Manchester, but don‘t know, thanks a lot.

3 points is essential after dropping points in the Chelsea and Liverpool games

Would be nice to win the game, and then go to Villa and beat them as well, it would really set us up for the following 7 or 8 games, which all look very winnable on paper

Liverpool and Arsenal about to enter a fairly tough run of games, so it's a good time to start putting them under some pressure

4-1 City

I think we all watched the game against Leipzig and could see Son tearing us to pieces. He loves to finally time his runs against us. Critical we play with more control in the final third rather than making it an end to end game which suits them. Villa couldn't get a foothold on the game in the first half last weekend so made early changes to stabilise things and were then much more compact defensively and much more of a threat in an attacking sense. They'll play on the counter so we've had a good warm up midweek. It's a game we have to win after a couple of draws, and with Villa away coming up.

Confident we'll get the job done though 3-1 City.

must win game, they lost 3 in a row, it shouldnt be in the Etihad where they stop the rot.

fucking concentrate at the back as last thing we need some loose balls from Akanji, Dias and Son walks it in...

If spurs had a fit squad I wouldn't fancy our chances with th way weve been playing. I think they can carve right through us. As it is, with their injuries, there's no excuses not win win this and we simply cannot go 3 games without a league win. Dropped too many points already and need to be picking up points against rivals, particularly at home.

Must win.

Great news on injuries. He's a big loss but i think we can manage without stones for now, bench for this maybe 20 minutes if its not pushing him. Otherwise just wait with him. Rodri is 1 gane awsy from suspension. When that inevitably comes, Stones has to be fit to take his place. Hes the only one capable so we need to ensure hes ready for when that comes which could be as soon as villa away if Rodri cant avoid a card against Spurs.

kovacic being available is the big one for me, we have a serious lack of options in midfield, we've been crying out for reinforcements in midfield in our last few games and haven't had any available. If he's fully fit I think he starts alongside rodri with Bernardo out on the right slotting in, doku left then a toss up between foden and alvarez behind haaland, I'd give Phil the nod personally. Even if he's not fit to start, just having him available to bring on second half when we're flagging in there or perhaps need an extra body for control is huge.

Sounds like Sunday will come too soon for Boulders, Ake and Akanji please Pep as our cb pairing. We need to be wary of Son's pace, but they are short on confidence and missing key players so time to get City back on track.

Atmosphere will be top on Sunday. I don't understand the recent talk of our atmosphere vs Leipzig. Champions League group stage games are honestly the most boring things I've watched. I haven't enjoyed watching them since our early days in the CL. Big week of fixtures coming up. Spurs and Villa away a good test for us.
