Not with Ange in charge. He’ll have a plan to make it difficult. Son knows he always seems to play well against us. Expect him to have a couple of chances.
If he insists on playing the high line with the injures they have at the back I’m expecting at least 4 city goals. The way spurs currently set up is perfect for city to exploit

So gents, just like last week City not winning is better for my team Arsenal, but just like last week you are playing a team I want to see thrashed so no fucking about please, I know Spurs have form for transforming into peak Messi Barcelona sometimes when they play you but I don't want to see you beat them 2-1, absolutely tear them a new one please. If Ange plays a high line I'd expect no less than 5 goals for City. Make this happen please.
I respect this old skool approach.
"It is not enough that I succeed, the club next door must crash and burn, no matter how it ultimately affects me"

Unless Stones is fit enough to start I think we’ll start as we finished Wednesday. We definitely need to ensure that Rodri isn’t is as isolated in the middle as he was on Tuesday. We need to find a bit of control as chaos will suit Spurs.

We have a few players a bit below par, Dias, Grealish and Walker haven’t been at their best. Haaland isn’t fully firing, yet, he’s definitely missing KDB. Instead Doku, Alvarez and Ake have been our amongst our better performers.

We’re not quite fully on it yet but we should have more than enough for an injury ravaged Spurs side.

You tend to think on the day with the form of both teams and the individual qualities, we will beat Spurs. Probably even quite comfortably. But its Spurs. And over the years I supported City its somehow one of those sides you really never know what to expect. Im confident despite the history. And its time to win vs one of the top 6 sides.

Just never fucking know with Tottenham they are a strange team, we are much better than them but not at the moment we are not even though they have lost 3 in a row recently we also look iffy.

I used to get annoyed with Gundo too, but he's far better than Bernardo and Alvarez at seeing the through ball.

Id like to see us mix it up too, sometimes we tend to overplay with extra passes or resetting the play from deep. All in all cant complain because the first half of last season I was a big critic of our inverted style and then we won the treble.
Imagine still have prime David Silva and KDB centrally feeding Haaland

What's the latest I can put my ticket on the exchange thing.
It's given quite bad snow tonight in buxton.
Ideally I'll wait to see what it's like in the morning and make a decision
Managed to get over the cat and fiddle to Macclesfield lat night. Bit hairy though. Would think it’ll be closed today with the extra snow overnight.

I'd disagree with you on Alvarez mate, more miss than hit up to yet

Enjoy the match blues

I'm snowed in and can't get out of cumbria - gutted to be missing this match

High scoring game for me this one. Can see spurs scoring a couple probably Son but we come out on top I’m going for City to put 5 past them.

Serious question don't bite my head off.
Where does the reference Tarquins come from? I've seen it said involving Arsenal too CTID
My take on it is that the perception is that they come to the games in their landrovers (or mummy and daddy's one) listening to Mumford and Sons, with their tweed jackets on having been out shooting grouse . They have their prawn sandwiches (or is that one not the rags a few years back?) in their picnic hampers. Oh and they all went to private school too, and most of them are called Tarquin(which ofcourse most of them are I would imagine!!!)

Not sure who is available due to injuries but the defence needs a shake up

EDERSON
LEWIS , STONES , GVARDIOL , AKE
BERNARDO , RODRI , KOVACIC
FODEN , HAALAND , DOKU

fight fire with fire , they want to play a high pressing game , then let's show them who invented it.

David Silva would be so clutch in this set-up, unbelievable vision and work rate, would he be the attacking #8 (like kdb/alvarez) or the controlling #8 (like gundogan/bernardo)? Cant think of a player like him in world football right now, closest might be Odeegard.
