Luton Town (A) | PL | Post Match Thread

How on earth did they not give a red card. Scandalous.
Because if they (corrupt fuckers) were to have issued a red card we would have won the game comfortably and that wouldn't bode well for the likes of the Dippers and the Tarquins.

They can't have us running away with it and winning four titles on the bounce.

It's not good for the brand apparently.

It's part of the systems they've got in place.

Who was it? It might have been Richard Masters not sure. Some CEO of the premier league that proudly announced that they've put measures in place to ensure that the league remains competitive and a new name appears on the trophy each season.
It was Scudamore in 2018.

From 2016 and as far as I know not one journalist ever asked what the plan was.

Premier League CEO Richard Scudamore said that the Premier League has a "strategic plan" to enable more clubs to win the title, according to Charlotte Bates of SKY SPORTS. In one of "the biggest shocks in the sport's history," Leicester City was crowned Premier League champion. And Scudamore "hopes the success of the rank outsiders gives hope to other clubs not usually regarded as contenders at the start of the campaign." He said, "Without being disrespectful to any club, we have a strategic plan at the Premier League and the strategic plan says putting a new name on the trophy in every six-year period. That doesn't mean we don't want any team to win it. It just means we would rather see some sort of rotation, for all neutrals in the game (what Leicester achieved) was a big moment." Asked how many teams "were in with a realistic chance of adding their name to the Premier League trophy," Scudamore joked, "If Leicester did it last season then you would have to say 17”.

False nine....welcome back my dear friend, THIS IS THE WAY! Our defending up front without Haalaand is 90% more efficient and productive.
I would continue this formation for the rest of the month. It can only get better as the players go back to the old days. The only way to shift this kind of defence. Alvarez rescued his poor performance with that face block.
Gvardiol really good going forward and this pairing with Ake on the left works.
And Foden just keep proving he needs to be somewhere in the middle. Just abandon shifting him to the wings.
I totally agree. I’d be interested to know what pep made of the performance without Haaland

Great to get 3 points and win when behind.

I still long for Crazy Pep back though.

This has been a great day

Top battling performance to get the win - the passing was slick and crisp and positive throughout which was great to see, we didn’t just resort to chucking crosses in or anything. Hopefully this has reminded the players of their collective resolve and why they’re Champions (again..) - in the way a 4-0 easy win wouldn’t have done.

Superb to see also Pep so passionate, & suave with it, hopefully will help build a siege mentality going into the Xmas period.

Up the fucking blues

I hate the bitterness of some posters toward fellow blues on here, It's their view and what they feel happened and they have as much right to post as anybody else, it can be ruthless by some posters and bordering on intimidation that can sort of stop others posting.

It's a fine line people cross when reposting on others' views
Remember we are all blues and lets stop the infighting please
