Great performance from Phil today despite being fouled to fuck

Superb today. Excelled in the 10 role, constantly picking up balls in the pockets and turning brilliantly to go at them. Didn't really have anything infront of him to allow him to make or eveb attempt the incisive pass though. Alvarez coming deep and not stretching the defence and we aren't going to get runs beyond and in behind from grealish or bernardo. Want to see him back his dribbling ability more and get shots off if theres no killer pass to be made in those areas. Needs more game time in that position, he's our option there in kdbs absence.

Concerned Phil is going to get a serious injury , that over the ball challenge today could have broken his ankle and was 100% a sending off but their player didnt even get a yellow card and within two minutes the same player was kicking f*ck out of him again
Our players appear to be fair game , the officials and the media appear to be fine with it ,kick shit out of City because its the only way to stop them , just imagine how good we could be if our players got a modicum of protection

Foden is pivotal to our creative force this season. They know if they kick the shit out of him, our overall creativity gets dampened. They did the same with KDB, and the refs never did much about it.
