That was absolutely dire. For the fourth home game in a row we have been awful. I don’t know what’s going on but the players look gassed and out of ideas. Every game Rodri plays recently looks like one game too many. The last thing this squad needs is to travel half way round the World and two more games.
Walker needs some bench time. He was awful again today.

I didn’t see the penalty as Foden had his back to me and they didn’t show replays in the ground. Was it a pen ?
 
I thought Grealish had a good game. Strange to see many negatives comments regarding him.

This is not about today, which really is related to our poor defense and concentration, but we really need to work on getting the ball forward sooner.

But like I said after the Champions League game, we are still shipping goals at an alarming rate.

It's all on Pep imo. He's probably thinking about the next game before the final whistle has blown on the latest one.

get xmas and the world club thing out of the way and hope we get kev back and pep gets his head out of his arse and we go on a run, it's possible as we have shown before
 
I wonder where’d we be in the league now if we’d somehow managed to persuade one of either Bellingham or Rice to play for us.

Should have strengthened from a position of strength, and you never get better than being current treble winners, with the world’s best manager.

Are these poor transfers all because of ffp? If so we need to fight that off in the courts asap, we can’t let some arbitrary rule created by the red shirts hold us back.

We certainly need to be more ruthless and ambitious in the transfer market, not complacent and arrogant.

Waste chances, finally get our noses in front then play it about without any real attacking threat only to then start giving the ball away needlessly and then concede.
Soon as it hit 90 minutes Kyle gave it away, then Ederson, then Foden and then Bernardo (foul?)
Then the inevitable goal.
You can see it coming a mile off and now other teams can too.
Far too easy to score against with very little possession.

If that’s the case there’s fresh legs sitting on the bench.
Can’t exactly say it’s a downgrade on quality when we’re conceding the same type of goals every game.
Top 4 might be a struggle with this defence.
I get we’ve had injuries but that shouldn’t affect the way we defend, especially today we had a strong defence and a strong midfield.
We lack concentration, especially giving away possession so easily.
We were great till 2-0
We go in front and switch off.
It’s like it’s job done.
We don’t play for 90 minutes anymore.
Those who think we’ll get stronger towards the end of the season are in for a shock as we can’t even get stronger over 90 minutes of late.
Absolutely fuming with the lack of concentration and desire to win so far this season.

I agree completely with your point about concentration. We spent most of the second half watching the ball being passed between Ake, Dias and walker. It's no wonder they lose concentration surely they must get bored of doing the same thing? That is when the slack passes come in, no drive forward at all.
 
I know its been disappointing the last month or so but City fans moaning like fuck at Pep need to give their heads a fucking wobble. Won everything, given us some of the best times we've ever had. We don't deserve him after some of the shite directed at him. Talk about entitled.

Didnt think any of the 11 actually had a bad game, oither than Alvarez but thats due to no goals being scored.

Anyways, 3/4 points off the top with over 5 months left of the season.

Lets see.
