There's a lot of off topic crap on this thread now, maybe discuss Foden's abilities in his thread?

Bobb was class. He is class. He needs starts or he'll end up getting frustrated and we'll lose him. He could potentially become that good that he plays his whole career at City, along with Lewis and Foden.

His positional sense on the left was great, lots of movement and rotations with other players. Fitted right in.
This is his still his first season with the first team, and he's aware that he's coming into the best team in World football. I suspect he's quite happy to take his time right now - especially as he's getting a reasonable amount of chances.

He's also a little older than some of the other players who have broken through - so hopefully he'll have the maturity to be ready to contribute more quickly, but also a little humility/patience, as he's had to deal with it not being quite so easy at Academy level.

When we played Chelsea in the third round last year, we started with Palmer and Gomez, while Lewis came on as a sub. Confident Bobb can start against Huddersfield.

With Pep you never know - but given Huddersfield are in such poor form this year, you'd hope that he takes the chance.

He played well when he came on and looks ready.
His vision and pass for Alvarez's goal was top class.
I hope he starts next week.

He certainly deserves it, and I can’t recall him letting anyone down when he has been given an opportunity.

His goal in Belgrade was top drawer and his contribution again today was decisive. He could be a really useful player for us during the run in and the more he plays the better he’ll be.

With de Bruyne nearing return and Doku to come back, the opportunities in the coming weeks may not present themselves as frequently, so a start would be welcome.

Bobb is officially part of the rotation imo. If City are going to win trophies they're going to need a deep bench with scoring/creative options and he's going to be a big part of that. He's the perfect compliment to come on late and add some creative flair.

I like Grealish, but I think if we don't start giving this kid more minutes, we are going to end up losing another special talent. I'd split Grealish's mins with Bobb, definitely.

The difference between Bobb and Grealish for me is... Grealish doesn't see the picture quick enough which is why he always holds on to the ball for a second or two seconds too long.

You can instantly see with Bobb, his brain works as quick as Foden's. He is a supremely intelligent footballer. I'd like to see him get a lot more minutes now.

Not to knock Grealish as like I said I do like him and rate him, but I just feel this kids ceiling is very very high. There are no limits to what he can become. The football intelligence, the touch, the elegance, the weight of pass, creativity, the dribbling ability... He's got the lot. He just glides across the pitch, amazing player to watch.

Been thinking similarly.. and actually think Grealish should be moved into the middle into the Kovacic role. He's excellent at pausa and control.

Allow Oscar to grow into the team.. he's got a knack for line breaking passes where with Grealish everyone complains about him finding someone's thighs!

This kid blew me away today...I've liked him all along but today he was sick...took his game to a whole other level...

Yes this is a very special talent we‘ve got on our hands.
Right now he is only getting bit parts fo us, but City fans already know it.
Him and Phil playing together is a very very frightening prospect for our opponents in the future.
In 18 months time the whole world will know the name Oscar Bobb.

Some of the talent we have coming through our club is scarily good, amazing work by all behind the scenes.

Just look at the talent that the club was happy to let go, including Palmer, Luiz, Garcia, etc, most are doing very, very well and will have superb careers at the top level, again an amazing advert for our club.
